Now I have read some of minamoto's theories and even though I don't agree with him, he used a panel that made me wonder about its meaning:

How Obito was planning to use Nagato's rinnei tensei for his benefit? What was he planning? In case he was about to die or let's say to revive Akatsuki? What is the most possible explanation that you can give?

Madara said he wasn't supposed to be revived by Edo tensei, so it had to be through rinne tensei

I'm not so sure about that but guess it's a logical explanation.


Edit: If you really think about it, all this happened before even the beginning of the war and that being said Obito was planning to start to the war based on the power he had till now without Kabuto's humongous help. That being said even Madara cannot be compared to all these shinobi kabuto revived, so it's not so sure htta really needed him.

For his benifit as in he needed Nagato's Rinne tensei for something.

A few possibilities exist:
-Obito wanting to revive Madara (That Rinne Tensei was suppose to be for Obito's goals).
-Reviving him (Obito) himself if he would die.
-Reviving himself (Madara) if Obito is somehow partly Madara/Someone who behaves in Madara's interests.
-He was lying to Black Zetsu (having to act as if he, Obito, wants to revive Madara, when he doesnt want to).
-Reiviving Rin.

Some people have said this already, but he was continuing with his mascaraed as Madara. Zetsu was loyal to only Madara, so if Obito wanted Zetsu to continue being his servant, he had to make Zetsu believe he was devoted to Madara's cause.
