You also do realize that Sasuke was at a much larger distance compared to Itachi, than Ay was compared to Sasuke. When you find an example of someone at a distance similar to the Itachi Sasuke fight, then maybe we can talk. Regardless of what you try to think, manga does not imply ameterasu speed is a variable. Meaning it does not change.

It's like comparing shooting a beer can 5 feet away while it's stationary, to shooting a beer can 25 yards away, while it's moving. It takes longer to get there, but they're moving at the same speed.
