He clearly didnt as he didnt have backlash from it as tsukuyomi does. However with bee it was tsukuyomi.

I always figured Sasuke used the "Tsukuyomi world" to get Danzo to believe Izanagi would last longer.

Backlash means nothing, sasuke got backlash from using a regular genjutsu previously.

I believe Sasuke did use Tsukuyomi in those fights but I think Kishi retconned it like he did many times with other things otherwise Sasuke would have used it recently in the kabuto fight.

He also got that pain from when Bee broke his genjutsu, and when he broke Itachi's Tsukuyomi. I think it's easier to conclude Sasuke probably didn't use that genjutsu on Danzo until later.

He fails at genjutsu. Him and his bro are nothing alike.

I guess the arguments about him having flame control are legit, but I don't buy into them for one reason. When Itachi used Amateratsu he also put out the flames and showed the ability to adjust them(first one versus Sasuke and the the third against Nagato by using a smaller version to destroy the crow.)

Tsukyomi requires extreme chakra control, which Sasuke has been said several times to not be the best at and even shown. Controlling time and space, the target's perception of reality, is way outta his league. We never saw him use Genjutsu in part 1, even though his dojutsu is linked with it. In part 2 when he did use it, his genjutsu was very weak: Against Bee, Against Cee, Against Danzo.

Obito said it best, Sasuke isn't the most proficient genjutsu user, but he knows how to use it to better his situation.

^this summs up what I'm thinking aswell, Itachi and Sasuke have the exact same MS abilities. Sasuke controls Amaterasu better while Itachi is better with the Tsukuyomi.

Btw. in japanese mythology Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi and Susanoo are siblings. They are connected to each other that's why I think Itachi, Sasuke and also Madara can use all 3 of those abilities. That's why Kishi picked those three names,, they go hand in hand.

Really good point! Kishi wouldn't have had Itachi state those three as requirements if it were random. Kishi borrows from myths, but he also links them on purpose. Orochimaru and Itachi is a great one. Shown to be enemies, Orchimaru is based on a myth, has the 8 headed snake, Itachi possess the sword that was used in the myth.

People need to realize Kishi probably gave the ability to Sasuke, but given how inferior Sasuke is to Itachi in genjutsu it's pointless to show it.
