Can madara activate sm on his own now? or would he have to absorb more senjutsu chakra from hashi if he runs out of it?

Well IMO i think he cannot activate SM.If Madara could activate SM he would have done it but he went to Hashirama and took his SM chakra.
So to answer your question: no he cannot(IMO).

Hashirama didn't have Sennin Mõdo activated. As we know, he receives stripes around his face and black rings around his eyes - which he didn't have [

]. He was panting, and could be the reason why he lost his Senjutsu Chãkra. After used, you need to re-create some again. There is no traces of Senjutsu afterwards - common sense.Then why did Madara absorb his chãkra?
- It could be that he absorbed it to increase his own chãkra level.
- I am wrong with my theory and he did actually absorb the Senjutsu Chãkra.
- Stronger link wit Sennin Mõdo.

He did absorb the sage chakara from hashirama..all of it went into the face in madara chest he said he needed hashirana sage chakra for the tailed beasts...he said something like that in the earlier chapters.
