can itachi defeat the nine tails by himself

The Sharingan has the power to manipulate the Kyuubi. If Itachi has a high enough mastery of his Sharingan/MS (which he likely does) he might be able to use that to his advantage, suppress it somehow, and capture it. It's still a long shot though

what do you mean "both the yin and yang" capturing the one without the other is the hard part , not taking them both ?

you know that minato sealed the yin chakra away, (half of the nine tails chakra)
by saying the yin an yang i only mean the nine tails with its full chakra/power

hey guys, im thinking itachi wins BUT, only if hes as smart as everyone says he is. the fox cant killl him till he runs outta chakra, if he can devise a strategy for kyubbi he will win, otherwise no and all you itachi haters/sasuke worshippers gtfo, only answer with a real answer not flaming so your heard.
