what are you talking about? We don't know anything surrounding that fight 1000 years ago. All we know was Yhwach lost. Besides,I have a feeling he had his eyes closed during that fight. You can't compare the two. Also, Yhwach was the only one Who could steal Yamaji 's bankai because his power was greater than Yamijis

OT: I don't see How Yamaji can win this fight.Let's not forget Ichibi is the leader of the shinigami

Lmao, He was sealed and lost his powers because of his battle with Yamamoto. And it took this many years for him to restore himself after his battle with Yamaji. The fact that he tried to seal Yamamoto's banki without fighting it head on and trolled Icibi's bankai without any problems proves that for him dealing with Yamamoto is a bigger challenge than dealing with Ichibi.
