You do realize it takes 2 people to make a child right? Mathematically, that 90% statement is inaccurate. If anything it's like 30% and out of that 30% less than that can even use Kaiten given their age and experience.

And Hizashi was branded because of one or more reasons:

He was a male heir. Do you see Hanabi or Hinata bearing the seal? And before you start, they get that seal at a severely young age.

This implies that they control who gets the seal via generation gaps or that females born into the branch never receive it. Either way, that means one of Hanabi's children would not be getting a seal (unless the clan changed or it's a "girl") while the other does.

Their numbers in the main branch aren't as small as you make it out to be. Regardless they are the minority in comparison to the side branch.

This isn't a VS. It's whether or not an Hyuga can defend Sakura's Sky punch. You said it destroys them which alone makes me wonder....

anyway I explained on why they have the means to defend themselves against Sakura's Sky punch if necessary.

(I'm not sure why people immediately started saying "Punch the ground GG" when that implies Sakura has no intention of even directly hitting her attacker in that scenario)

It all depends on the amount of chakra and speed of the rotation. If Sakura's speed or power isn't enough then it isn't going to break it.

I don't know why people forget Hakkeshō Kaiten has reflective properties regarding chakra.


With that being said, someone of Hiashi, Hizashi, or Neji's level should be capable of reflecting or at the very least prevent fatal damage from that punch (Enough to continue fighting).

Sakura needs a running start, and a jump in order to do a level of damage like the panels shown. That's plenty of time for someone to either avoid it or scale their rotation to fit the situation.

Despite that, Hakkeshō Kaiten isn't a Hyuga's only means to defend against attacks. It happens to be the safest next to their ability to release chakra via Tenketsu and 359.9 degree of vision.

Someone with an arsenal and ability to shut down chakra wouldn't require Hakkeshō Kaiten to even defend against it as it's only dangerous when it comes into contact with you.

The average size of a female's fist is more or less 6.77 inches (even smaller when formed into a fist) Sakura doesn't often use kicks unless she's 100% confident it would land. Sakura's fighting style relies on her footwork and positioning above anything else.

Because of it, her attack goals are whatever happens to be vulnerable at the time.

A Hyuga excelling in CQC and Taijustu would be more than capeable of disabling their attacker throughout the entire fight.
