Can female Uchiha use the Sharingan?

i don't think sasuke's mom was uchiha,considering itachi used izanami which requires both senju and uchiha blood.and itachi said that he is the senju as well in some way.

where does it say that senju blood is required to use izanami, izanagi does (which by itachi explanation of izanami makes me question that theroy) but not the other

1) izanami is not an eye-jutsu, izanagi is....
2) uchiha can do a "weak" form of izanagi that turns back time, whereas the sage could do a full izanagi which he used to create the tailed beasts. (obito tells konan this before he kills her)

Well since the Sharingan is unlocked at times of emotional stress then yes female Uchiha can have it.IMO they would be the only ones capable of mastering it since the Sharingan is powered by strong emotions and women are more emotional than men.
