I couldn't say with out the stats if she can run at the speed lee did the all she would have to do is punch hard enough to decapitate him from the brute force or just throw a boulder at him and crush him

Sakura´s main problem is and has always been how limited she is as a shinobi.Even now all she has is brute strength and being good as a medic.Gaara was a jink too and that alone puts him on a far superior level compared to Sakura.He also had a bunch of crushing jutsus that would crush he.

That and the fact that Gaara had a evil personality with an urge to hurt/murder people is way too much for Sakura to handle.Sand coffin one shots her easily.
