How is it better? It can see better sure but it doesn't give any bonuses like being able to copy jutsu or predict movement, making taijutsu easy for a sharingan user. If you were to put up a sharingan user and Byakugan user together in a taijutsu fight then the sharingan user would win every time because the sharingan tracks movement easier, and predicts where the opponent is going to be.

The Byakugan does not give these bonuses, all of it's bonuses are only related to sight. The sharingan can copy almost anything perfectly, can track movement, can predict movement as well, and can see chakra, as well as cast some genjutsu.

The Byakugan has telescopic vision, 360 degree vision, x-ray vision, and like all the dojutsu can see chakra. It can also see when people are in genjutsu because of the chakra. It doesn't make them immune to genjutsu, nor can they see through everything.

So stack up the bonuses and compare them and tell me which you would rather have. Sharingan is by far more useful in a fight. The Byakugan is good for reconnaissance but it doesn't help too much in a fight other than being able to see the person's chakra pathway which doesn't help if you are not faster than the person you are fighting.

And to the person saying I am wrong about the sharingan predicting movement, please get out of here. Go reread the chapter where Sasuke finally gets his 3 tomoe against Naruto at the valley of the end. They show you how he can now keep up with Naruto's speed because while he may not be as fast his eye shows him where Naruto is going to go, something the Byakugan doesn't do. Don't get mad at me for how kishi wrote the story, I just accept it.

Because the sharingan predicts where the opponent is going to go and makes it so it can follow faster movements. Plus it can copy taijutsu and ninjutsu exactly. The Byakugan can do none of those things. So if someone was the same speed as a byakugan user or even a little slower but they had the sharingan then they could win in a taijutsu fight against them. The 360 degree vision would be useless if you are too fast for them to see anyway.

And like I said their body not being able to keep up has nothing to do with the eye powers. The sharingan gives them better abilities, you guys are just fanboys who refuse to admit it. Unless you think that the ability to predict where an opponent will be is useless as well as the ability to copy and memorize any jutsu and keep up with faster movement.

And who cares what Kakashi said? You don't see him waving around a Byakugan every time he goes into battle, nope he has a sharingan. And who has the more famous and stronger people? The Hyuga? Didn't think so, it was the Uchiha they were the strongest along with the Senju, it was never the Hyuga. So get over yourselves, just accept that Kishi made the sharingan stronger, he said his favorite character was always Sasuke so guess what? It isn't my fault he made it that way. Deal with it.

it was abadoned by kishi to devolop the sharringan from what we have seen its the weaker of the 3 main eye types but you never know neji might just go on a rampage killing madara,kabuto+zetsu would that make you think it was the most powerful dojutsu ?

Like you said just because you can see something doesn't mean you can stop it. If a sharingan user and Byakugan user were the exact same speed, let me say it again if they were the exact same speed, then the sharingan user would have the advantage in a taijutsu fight because they would be able to predict where the other person would strike and the opponent would seem slower.

That is what I am saying, this isn't about the Hyuga and the Uchiha it is about the sharingan and byakugan and one is clearly better in a fight than the other.

didnt read the entire thread but its seems that genjutsu dont work on a byakugan. AO from the mist village fight shisui and know about is genjutsu and look Ao still alive
