No. Hanabi got taken out by one of those puppets. Hinata took on mutliple of them in the Tenseigan Chamber. But yeah, keep arguing for someone who is literally featless.

No reason at all to believe Hagoromo made the seals. Why the hell would he give it to Hamura if he can use it himself? Simple logic dictates having the seals on one user beats having them in two seperate people. Only reason Hagoromo gave it to the both of them was because he felt bad for what happened to Indra and Ashura and wanted to fix that. Even without it, he has TSB, which are more fluid and dangerous than Particle Style, Rikudo Chakra, flying capabilities, and Gentle Fist. The fact that he even foght Kaguya says alot, and that's without the Tenseigan.

So we had probably hundreds pure Hyuuga so far in the series with nothing more than a basic Byakugan, God Kagyua, master of all KKG, has just a Byakugan and out of fcuking nowhere Boruto gets an upgraded Byakugan version.

To be fair though, Byakugan stayed in its initial form, so it should be comparable to the normal sharingan up to 3T.

MS is an evolution of the sharingan that requires certain conditions to be acquired. It wouldn't be a problem if Boruto's new eye is an evolution of the normal Byakugan, which was unlocked under a certain condition.... maybe Byakugan + Rikudo chakra? That would make his new eye the equivalent of MS?

Tenseigan should be the equivalent of EMS because the way to acquire them are more or less the same.

I don't see a problem with introducing a new evolution of Byakugan, since Byakugan doesn't have anything that is the same as MS so far.

Just because a new form of byakugan was just introduced, doesn't make it an asspull, since an evolution can occur any time under the right conditions. MS was also a new discovery once upon a time.

Don't get me wrong. I really love Byakugan concept. It's just that lately people pop up and start hyping it up just because Kaguya did some fancy stuff with it. Like, really?

I think we can agree, that Byakugan development stopped in P1 and after all the power-ups and power-scalings that we had since then, it is really underwhelming in its current state. And if I'm not mistaken, even Hinata in one of the current episdes said that Byakugan is nothing more than vision and chakra points blocking. So what are we left with?

I'm fine with story and character development, but in the end we all wait for action. And what at this point is possible for us to get? 8 Trigrams 1024 palms? 2048 palms? Or more rotation? Like, come on.

Anything is possible with Byakugan as a basis. There are still many possible new moves that Byakugan can be given, and that's without even adding in any out-right knew abilities that don't relate to the eyes alread-existing abilities ala what happened with Sharingan and Susano'O

Lmao people happen to expect him to be like Naruto when his own clan doesn't get much explored . This series isn't even about "Uzumaki Tale" but rather we got this over glorified Uchiha that have been wanked hard left to right. The series was mostly devoted time on wasting so much pointless panel with Naruto who was fixated over Sasuke so much that the series ended up brushing off everything that was previously established. Naruto went from becoming "Hokage" and be "acknowledge" by others to chase Sasuke. The series never give the time to address Naruto story with his own development and his friends as well as focusing on the Jiinchiruke arc (which we ended up having some fillers smh) and exploring more indepth with varies clans and their backround history with politics and the 5 great nation. We got none of that other than the fact that we got Asuma Arc/Jiriaya death arc and the hero who ended up saving the village from Pain which IMO was the peak of Naruto character development. After that Naruto neglected his friends again and went back to his usual routine which is to save Sasuke again.

Boruto isn't going to be like Naruto because now the hyuga were always brought back as reminder every-time the story progresses. The Uchiha have already been dealt with so many times and Sasuke story was finished anyway . Now he was treated as a legendary figure since it's mostly focusing on Boruto and his FRIENDSHIP . Kaweki and Boruto are likely to be the strongest and none of them are apart of the Uchiha. The funny thing is Kawekii still haven't been properly introduce which might come off a good thing since there's a possibility that Kishi will recycle the format of Naruto vs Sasuke 2.0.

it is fear that the byakugan can over shadow the sharingan in the future

especially in terms of future villains, plot, scaling etc...

but they forget that the byakugan is the default dojutsu for the Otsutski and is used by these dudes to find their chakra fruits and harvest worlds

Byakugan is already near Sharingan in terms of being able to fight on par with it, we just need a Byakugan user with good speed and stamina and we're good.
