What train of logic are you even riding for this to even make sense? Honestly? The notion that Gentle Fist is useless is ridiculous when it can destroy Chakra, stop Charka flow, counter visual genjutsu with zero difficulty, one-shot opponents, control oppnents movements, provide an ultimate defense capable of blocking the Juubi's Tail, and a burst of air pressure capable of sending that same air sky high.

Oh, and thanks for going off topic. My post was about the Gentle Fist being interesting and a nice change of pace from what we had been getting previously in Naruto, not about their power levels, so reply to me with on-topic remarks next time. Susano'O being better than Gentle Fist is 100% irrelevant to my point.
