So we had probably hundreds pure Hyuuga so far in the series with nothing more than a basic Byakugan, God Kagyua, master of all KKG, has just a Byakugan and out of fcuking nowhere Boruto gets an upgraded Byakugan version.

Wasn't Neji also a prodigy? Sorry, but Byakugan techniques are simply underwhelming after all the hype. Sure, it has a lot of utility, but it lacks something that would push it further. Susano'o gives offense, defense and mobility. You have one-shotting Amaterasu from distance, powerful Genjutsu, pre-cog, jutsu copying, etc.

Did I bring up Neji? Nope. I compared Hiashi, a normal Hyuga, to Izuna and Fugaku, normal Uchihas.

Push it further to what extent? What is this addressing? It already parried the Juubi's attacks on two occasions. Those feats were Kage level stuff, and that's on top of how un-combatable it is in CQC with all of the Chakra blocking applications. And that's not even bringing up the Tenseigan upgrade

Rotation like Susano'O also grants defense, and mobility only applies to EMS SusnaoO. Susano'O itself is made of tangible Chakra, so even the Gentle Fist could be used to destroy it by flowing Chakra into it. Amaterasu doesn't one-shot, so many people have managed to avoid it or tank it, and with the Byakugan, Rotation, and Chakra Cocoon, Byakugan weilders would easily avoid or counter it. Not to mention Gentle Fist can one shot if the user wishes to do so. As for Precognition, Byakugan also has that in a way with it's slow-motion vision and seeing Chakra build up.

That's why I said that there are cases where Gentle Fist is good. But it's rare. The amount of effort and training one has to put into learning Gentle Fist could've been spent on learning something actually better.

Where is this idea of Gentle Fist taking long to learn coming from, fam? Himawari pulled it out the moment her Byakugan kicked in.

I mean, the concept of Gentle Fist and chakra blocking is really cool, I admit. But it's weak as shit if you compare it to other techniques and fighting styles.

Obviously, same way how Sasuke's Chidori and Sharingan would be more underwhelming without his sword or even Suigetsu or Zabuza's water style techs with his sword. An enhancement would obviously make things easier, that doens't itself diminish Gentle Fists' strong points.

Just imagine a Hyuuga with a chakra blade or some fancy sword. 1000x better and stronger than some pokes.

Swords can be tanked. Gentle Fist can't. I already gave you an example of this in the 3rd Raikage. How is that better or stronger?

Again, at least wait until an explanation is given before you say stuff like this. Hagormo got Rennigan despite Kaguya not having it, no reason the first of two Hyuga/Uzumaki hybrid wouldn't unlock a new eye, assuming his Uzumaki genes even play a factor in the eye. For all you know, it can be a normal eye taking a different appearance due to being exposed to the Nue's/Momoshiki's Chakra. And Kaguya isn't the be-all-end-all of Byakugan aliens, as Hamura unlocked the Tenseigan while she didn't.

Hagoromo and Hamura have Rikudo Chakra, TSB, Sage Staffs, and endless stamina, Hanabi has nothing like that. Hagoromo and Hamura have feats via the likes of Madara and Toneri using their abilities, while no one can say for sure whether Hanabi has the same skills as Neji and Hinata.

Hanabi was never even called stronger than Hinata, just that she had more potential, and that's because Hinata herself hated fighting and held back on going full throttle as a ninja.

Been a while since i saw the last and Hanabi literally got kidnapped. And literally what you said apply to Hinata too since Naruto had to save her.
