I'm not sure how to feel about this. Part of me wants to deny that these spoilers are real. That they're just fanfiction that someone has made convincing. Yet, the other part of me wishes to acknowledge the various confirmations. I've laughed at certain theories and supposed spoilers before only to have them be proven true in the end. So, on that note, I reserve judgement on validity until the manga makes its debut. However, I truly hope that Naruto doesn't die. He is my favorite character and, admittedly, I nearly had went into a panic when it was hinted that he would die in the Boruto movie. If anything, I'm sincerely wishing that the hype of his "death" is the same type of ploy from Boruto- he isn't actually dead but people think he is. I could even handle him being NEAR death, but not really DEAD.

On a different note, I wonder how this manga would affect the 2nd Boruto movie should these spoilers prove true. Would the movie hold any influence over the manga or vice versa or at all? Personally, I'd like to see a couple more Boruto movies that follow the new generation as they age and face their challenges.

Wtf this artist doesn't even know to draw sasuke hair style.
So many angles looks so misproportion especially if you look closely at his side by the ear in 3/4 view looks way shorter comparing to the front view.

Or this Kawaki is stronger than Kaguya (which I doubt) or Naruto/Sasuke they became two fodder.

Or is the pawn of another Villain... Naruto and Sasuke would have lost to Shin in Gaiden and since their plot armor is off anything can happen

Yeah but there is a different level of shit we see here. It seems the author is following his own roots by turning these characters into some edgy Grand Theft Auto characters.

Don't be surprised if Sarada plays as a stripper in this manga instead of a serious fighter.

I think you forget this the series that OP characters like Madara and Kaguya were defeated by bs for the sake of the plot... So the guy could just be High Level Ninja...

New spoilers from OD:

Hmm, I did not get the impression that it was a 'dead eye'. Older Boruto kept his right eye closed all through Page 1 & 2, and the first panel of Page 3. Sorta like how Sasuke closed his Rinnegan eye to conserve energy during versus Kaguya? That's the sentiment that I got from it.

On Page 3, Older Boruto closes both eyes to tie his/Papasuke's hitai-ate on his forehead. At this point he says "...I am".

Then Older Kawaki goes "!".

Boruto's right eye opens up in the next panel (what YonkouProductions drew earlier).

Then next panel is the latest Older Boruto image that I drew---- with him and the (Papasuke?) sword in hand + Tairitsu no In in the other. He finished off his sentence "...a ninja".

Last panel of the page they clash like VotE style Older Boruto vs. Older Kawaki.

It doesn't say with the eye exactly is, hence why I called it 'Byakugan-ish'. Only by description it's different than Hyuuga Byakugan in that it has no outer and inner eye veins. Maybe it's missing inner eye veins because of Ikemoto's drawing style, but he definitely does not have the outer veins.

Only the colour-spread, Page #1, and Page #2 are in full colour.

Page #3 is in the typical manga black/white style, so no information about the colour of that eye is known.

The only panel where both of Older Boruto's eyes are open, we see both eyes are not filled in (so this only indicates that it's not a dark colour, like how Sasuke's eyes are always filled in black). The left eye I assume is normal and blue like it was in pages #1 and 2 --it has a dot for the pupil. The right eye has those three or two little marks around where the pupil should have been.

Movie-age Boruto's eyes are not filled in for the rest of the chapter. He has pupils in both of them like normal.
