Probably scared. Most people gave up on Naruto, if this series does well, it might change people's perspective with already strong opinions on the whole thing.

In fact, the very first panel of the manga is an overview of Kawaki versus Boruto.

They face-off right on top of the crumbling (like 30% intact) Hokage Monument face carving...of Naruto.

I wonder if the new manga will follow a sequence, like classic Naruto manga. First chapter was "Uzumaki Naruto", then "Konohamaru" and then "Uchiha Sasuke".

Maybe chapter 2 and 3 will get Sarada's and Mitsuki's names?
