Imo, the Naruto story has been so horrible since the War Arc, the current story seems to have interesting concepts that might bring forth good writing.

The art doesn't really bother me because it can change overtime. But if the story sucks, then nvm. The reason why it seems like fan fiction, is because we haven't had good story telling or an actual story for this series since forever-ago.

The problem is the fast paced War Arc and then this slow paced story seems to be something a fan would write.DBZ almost never scales back power levels which is why DB Super actually isnt as bad as it could have been.We were approaching meteor and country busting attacks in Naruto and every thing was fast paced.Now the 2 protagonists who are demi gods seem to be unnecessarily copped up in trivial crap which should be nothing for them and we have this new gen surpassaing old shoved on us.People watched this series for Naruto.Repetitive shit done with the next gen just never seems to have the same flair as the old.We have Salad wanting to be Hokage and Bolt wanting to go the Sasuke way and we got some tatoo like the curse mark making its debut simiarly.Its almost cliche and boring at this point

Reminds me of how Toriyama intended to make Gohan the protagonist with Goten as the new Gohan and keep Goku dead but the ratings dropped heavily and he was forced to backtrack which resulted in Gohan,Goten and Trunks and almost every Z fighter apart ffrom Goku and Vegeta being complete noobs and crap

Yeah but there is a different level of shit we see here. It seems the author is following his own roots by turning these characters into some edgy Grand Theft Auto characters.

Don't be surprised if Sarada plays as a stripper in this manga instead of a serious fighter.

100% agree with this, the series itself has changed ever since the war arc, and after the all the filler in the anime and gaiden and one shot not living up to the hype the series has gone down. However this new manga has gone for a different direction which is amazing. Hope it brings back the series to the fullest like in the Pain Arc.

Tbh nothing about these spoilers were cliche and predicted, at least I don't think so? Imagine if I made a thread about this a week before, everyone would laugh at me :lol

I'm interested because it's so weird, and different. Plus this isn't Naruto anymore, like the line said already, it's another person's story.

Based on Adult Boruto, the story is going to take a dark spin, which is better than anything Kishimoto could have done since the War Arc started.

The first chapter is 20 minutes into the movie so I'd assume 4-5 chapter max 3 if we are particularly lucky.
