Episode 8 and 9 are cannon from the Hyuga compound till Boruto leaves. Don't care about the rest as much.

it's just some gaiden stuff which are filler cause it's modifying kishi original work simple as that

Wich version of Momoshiki' s final form do you consider canon, Ikemoto's or Kishimoto's?

Boruto isn't Dragon Ball Super. Anime isn't leading, and based on the flow, it doesn't look like it'll be close for a while.

Boruto is already on it's next arc after finishing the Mujina, and we know the Anime will animate the Movie Arc. Not's not even counting the amounts of filler episodes in between.

Boruto will be mostly comprised of filler and Manga adaptions, with the occasional Kishimoto "approved" arcs. Why people are trying to call an Anime series "completely canon" is beyond me, not even the author believes that.

So at least 5 years before we get to see Kawaki?

Unless Kishimoto says it is canon, it is not. Think a bit, Kishimoto work is the storyline we can consider canon, everything that happened so far (Except for episode 8 and 9? + 80% of the animated Gaiden) doesn't follow Kishimoto original work, it is filler, because it was written and animated by SP, even if it is supervised by Kishi.

They will eventually catch up to the Manga and then fill it again with BS until there is enough original material for them to work on again. It was always like this, ALWAYS.

I understand 123Fire likes the anime and really gets chills from it, but cooomeee ooooonnn..

It amazes me how people are fighting for the anime when the manga is so much better lol

So much better? The manga has been developing Boruto so far while the anime is giving time to every single character

According to your logic the manga is filler . Because the writer is ukyo who is also writing the anime .

Thank you, you give me even more reason. Did what happened so far in the anime appear in the Manga? (Apart from Gaiden?) No. What happens in the Manga is the original storyline, everything else (apart from what was mentioned already) is filler.

IT is so obvious that the anime so far is filler in order to give Ikemoto time to practice and for new material to exist. You talk like Kishi didn't supervised the fillers of Shippuden, he did, of course he did, does it make them canon? No.

Why aren't the fillers of Shippuden canon? Because they never were in the MANGA. Is this too hard to understand?

I know you lost brain cells.

The chief director of the anime is Noriyuki Abe. He decides the direction of the episodes. Ukyo is the supervisor of the anime, just like Kishi was for Shippuden, including fillers.

^Not a crap source. Use translate from google to understand who is who. It even shows Ukyo as the Manga writer but the supervisor for the anime. Is this too hard to understand?

Summing up:

Manga:

Ikemoto (Art)
Kodachi (Story)
Kishimoto (Supervisor)

Anime:

Hideyuki Ueno (Art)
Abe Noriyuki (Chief director) - Responsible for the direction of the anime and the story.
Ukyo Kodachi - Supervisor
