Ukyo, author of Bolt, and Kishimoto, author of Naruto, both work on the Bolt anime. What reason is there for it to not be canon? I legit want an explanation. InB4 someone brings up RTN because they can't comprehend what an AU is.

That backtrack. That dumb ass basement dweller article guy was just spouting out fan fic.

Truth of the matter is, Kishimoto hasn't worked on the Anime since episode 8 & 9. This shit is the epitome of filler like the Naruto Anime.

Anime will not be canon b/c you say so
Ok what's interesting is that Kishi is on record saying that "I plan to make it even better than Naruto" in reference to the anime the Jump Festa event back in May.

So OP isn't wrong for posting a site that claims the Boruto manga and the Boruto anime is indeed part of the original storyline since Kishimoto is involved with the production of both, he's stated to be.

EP1-18 are 100% canon material.
Some Gaiden addition could be considered filler.
The anime & manga are written by Kodachi.

which mean NH SOLOS :axedance:

Kishimoto has not worked on the Anime since 8 & 9 according to Ukyo Kodachi. Plus Kishimoto working on something doesn't mean much. He did the same to Road to Ninja, however.

OP is wrong based on what you posted. There's no official link that states that the Anime takes place or is apart of the canon universe. The Anime was advertised as an adaption of the Manga, which is the Canon following. Anything other than that is fan fic. Not sure why people are saying that Anime Arcs are canon unless they were stated to be. Hence why Kishimoto came to a TV program to say he approved of the Academy Arc. Sigh.

Kishimoto came out to say that the first Arc was approved, however, in the case of adaptions. The Anime is stated to be an Adaption of the Manga. More-so they even advertised it as an original new story too. Granted most of the these are filler notes.

Anime isn't canon otherwise Kishimoto wouldn't have to specify which arcs are approved or not.

Funny how you mention fanfic, and yet they make articles on filler episodes. This is annoying
this episode wasn;t filler either it's the one shot kishi drew and the other half is a very needed boruto and naruto moments which are important for their development

Like most of what OP posted

That doesn't make it canon though. The truth of the matter is, if the author has to specify which arcs are 'legitimate' and which are not. It means that he doesn't even take the Anime seriously.

Given that he hasn't worked on it since episode 8 & 9 though....

Concession accepted. The only one spreading cancer is you, trying to make it seem as if the Anime is canon.

Sad. Inb4 NextGen comes in and exposes you doing the same thing in 2013 :lol

I am saying only episodes 1-18 are canon so far, not 19-24.

I can't argue against the Academy Arc since Kishimoto said it was legitimate. He never said canon, but what-ever. I'm not going against his word there.

The Academy Arc ended @ episode 15 according to AnimeBlue.
The manga & anime are written by Kodachi.

Kishimoto supervise the anime & manga.

EP1-18 are definitely 100% canon material
