Minato waits on the training field for his student, he was always early. He placed an FTG tag on the pole close to the training field, so that he could quickly come and train his students. Before him, a young woman sat.
"Well then, it seems I am training you in the element of Wind. I am Minato Namikaze. I presume it's your first time training in this element? First, I want you to tell me everything you know about the Wind element in the Narutoverse, it's strengths and weaknesses, and known users of the element. Use as much detail as possible."

Minato-sama. I want you to help me master the ways of Fuuton. I wish it to be my main element release along with Doton. I also wish to incorporate it in my Bukijutsu to pump up the overall efficency of my weaponry.
After taking a deep breath, she sits down, calmly collecting her known facts and knowledge, than again excitedly letting it all out in one breath.
Fuuton / Wind release is probably the rarest element out of one of the five basic elements. Taking the form of wind based attacks
which can be huge gusts of wind or sustained / compressed wind storms, Fuuton: Rasenshuriken and Fuuton: Rasengan for example.
Fuuton chakra can be generated by the air circulation or channeled within bladed weapons to increase their attack power.
Wind is typically a specialised offensive element, good for close to mid-range attacks.
Most knowledgable/known masters of Fuuton are:
*Naruto
*Temari
*Asuma
with Naruto ofcourse taking it to a whole another lvl, incorporating it into his Rasengan, developing one of the deadliest jutsu's known to us as FRS, and it's variations. /adding wind to a bijuu bomb etc.
Pro/Con:
Fuuton is weak against stronger ranked Katon and strong against Raiton. It negates the effect of weaker/same ranked Doton, but it's nullified/weak against stronger rank Doton.
It's most known Kekkei Genkai's are Hyokuton which is posessed by Haku, and Jinton, possesed by Onoki and Muu
Fuuton can be combined with Katon to increase it's elemental strength (wind increases the fire) and Suiton to increase its destructive power.

"Hm, not bad TenTen. But there is much more to Wind release than that! Wind is a calm element, capable of being quite destructive yet stay graceful at the same time. It is one of my favorite elements, but it isn't very versatile like Earth or Water release. Most Wind techniques carry a similarity, but their uses are what set them apart. Wind is indeed stronger than Lightning, acting as an insulator to Lightning and thus rendering it useless. It's weak against Fire because the Wind would feed the fire more, increasing its size and destructive power. This can both be a disadvantage and an advantage, if you use it in battle of course. Wind does two types of damage, usually blunt damage by simply pushing the opponent back or even breaking bones with sheer strength. Other type of damage it does, is more of a cutting type where the Wind is focused to be extremely sharp and precise, being capable of cutting through even bone. Some forms of Wind techniques even have a solid like property to them, but we'll cover them all during training."
Minato then looks around in a bag of his for a special paper. He takes it out and hands it to TenTen.
"This here paper is known as chakra paper. Focus your Wind based chakra into that paper, which would cause the paper to be sliced in half! To focus your chakra, mold it, and think of the properties of Wind! Feel the Wind against your skin, become one with it, and do it with a lot of detail."
Minato then waits for TenTen to do as he had asked.

Tenten grabs the piece of paper from her sensei's hands, taking in between the palms of her hands; starting to focus chakra trough.
Ok, I can do this. Ughhh.
As the chakra concetration between her palms becomes more dense and dense, she i starting to imagine the properties of Wind, it's sharp edges, it's frightfull speed and ferocity, at one moment, she imagines a huge tornado; she opens her eyes in shock, it's like as she felt an impactfull gust of wind trough her hands, she even felt the sharp cut across her palm.
She opens her palms, revealing a sliced piece of paper.

Tenten swiftly jumps backwards upon seeing Minato-sama's bunshin on the approach, she quickly weaves a handseal and molds some chakra, collecting it in her lungs before expelling it in a stream of wind towards the bunshin.

Minato watches as TenTen performs the technique, and does it wrong. She had not listened to his instructions, but Minato was not one to anger. Not in the slightest. He smiled, as he looked towards her and indicated.
"TenTen, the technique does not require a hand seal, and what about the advantages, disadvantages and how you would use the technique in battle? Those must be answered with every reply for a technique. Care to try again?"
Minato then smiled as he waited for TenTen to perform the technique once more.
Minato watches as TenTen performs the technique, and does it wrong. She had not listened to his instructions, but Minato was not one to anger. Not in the slightest. He smiled, as he looked towards her and indicated.

While noticing herself she did the technique wrong, upon hearing Minato-sama's instructions Tenten starts molding chakra gathering it to her lungs again, swiftly expelling it in a form of stream towards Minato-sama.
Right afterwards she spews out a short analysis of the jutsu.
This is a simpleton wind release jutsu, which can be used to complement some freeform movement aswell as a defence against some low rank raiton for example. Strong against lightning lower ranked jutsus since wind insulates lightning. Weak against katon. Au-contrairy to some other element starter jutsus, I wouldn't use this one to an extent in battle.

As Minato sends his bunshin running towards her, Tenten starts quickly molding her Fuuton chakra, slowly lifting her hands, expelling her wind chakra, manipulating it to a gust of wind, lifting the surrounding dust, earth and sand particles, as the bunshin is almost at short range, Tenten turns both her palm outwards, smashing a compressed gusty cloud to the clone's eyes, while leaping over him; making him stop for a brief moment covering his eyes.
As he is stopped for a brief moment, Tenten simply lifts her other hand outwards, connecting both of her palms litellary a meter from behind Minato-sama's bunshin, in sheer moments, glowing pale yellow horn of raiton chakra bursts out trough the fingertips of Tenten's fingers, impaling the bunshin from his back trough his chest; immediatly poofing the bunshin out.
She starts slowly walking towards Minato-sama, trough the cloud the bunshin left a second ago, brushing her shoulders from the dust that she risen before.
I actually like this jutsu as it does not require handseals and it's versatile enough to be combined with other elements, espeacially with Doton jutsus. It is a great defensive/distraction tech, that can allow me to widen the gap between me and the opponent, or be an intro to another immobilizing jutsu.

Minato threw another scroll towards Tenten, this time she had the technique far better and her combination was good too. Minato could see her becoming good in the future. Without further a due, Minato continued the training, as he cleared his throat.
"Well done, Tenten. You did well, keep it up and remember to add how you would use the technique in battle. Here is the technique you just learned."

As soon as hearing Minato-sama's instructions Tenten get's the jist of it, when the bunshin started running, so did Tenten, right after molding and redirecting wind chakra to her arms;now increasing her pace, with her crossed hands covering her face, upon approaching to about 2 meters of distance, she simply digs in, drops her hands at a full stop inverting her palms outwards, releasing a somewhat powerfull "wall" of wind, looking like a small scale tornado, as the bunshin did not slow down, he simply gets poofed out with a one or 2 impacts from the sharp winds of the aggressive fuuton wall.

So as you said yourself sensei, one of the big disadvantages is it can backfire us when someone throws an explosive tag of sorts it can dmg us, it can also backfire us when someone throws a C+ranked Katon at us.
Its sorta fun for a defence from low lvl Tai and freeform. Strong against lower ranked raiton

Minato smiles as he sees his young student do good once more. She was getting the hang of it, and it became easy for her to perform the techniques against the clones. Perhaps he had to use more clones against her...

While listening to Minato-sama's final words, Tenten has already started to mold fuuton chakra, acumulating it in her lungs; whilst Minato is finishing his sentence, Tenten lets out a hillarious scream, whilst being launched in the air by the emerging pillar of earth. She quickly regains her composure noticing a pletora of kunais flying in her direction; she quickly focuses her fuuton chakra, expelling it from her mouth while turning to the right side mid-air. The somewhat strong stream of wind she blew out rapidly moves her to her left, she does a backflip whilst landing back to the ground, smoothly evading all of the kunais.
She stands up, turning towards Minato-sama.
Well sensei, while the usuall elemental advantages and disadvantages apply, this is a seriously usable and awesome jutsu, even against fearsome opponents. It is an fairly good supplementary/evasive/distraction jutsu. For example, before unleashing my main bukijutsu scroll I blow a harsh stream of wind to the ground beneath me, making a huge cloud of dust before launching a storm of weapons.

Tenten is obviously excited for finally finishing D ranks; in mid of Minato-sama's inputs she has already begun to mold her Fuuton chakra, redirecting it's flow trough the lungs, acumulating a vast amount of it;
Suddenly a condensed stream of wind is expelled trough Tenten's mouth, but instead aiming it towards the bunshin, she excitedly starts blowing towards Minato himself, starting to aim from hes feet up; the harsh impact of wind firstly rips several large rocks around Minato, then lifts him too, the impactfull stream of wind slams the rocks on Minato-sama; while his bunshin is seen besides Tenten, scratching his head in disbelief.
She excitedly runs towards the cloud of lifted dust, spewing up the explanation while running.
Senseiiiiii; this is a fun jutsu, even though I'm not sure would I use it much since blowing it trough the mouth is obligatory, and I don't like blowing trough the mouth.

With the wind's usuall advantages and disadvantages, I see this technique easily compatible with Katon and Raiton techniques; if one chains it to 2 more jutsus it would work as an awesome distraction jutsu. (let's say; a shot Mudshot around the opponents palms; rendering their seal making useless if even for a short while, afterwards using this tech followed by Mountain Smash...there are countless combinations.

Minato suddenly sees the Wind beneath him, and within a split second, he teleports out of harm's way by switching positions with his clone by using the instantaneous revolving technique. Minato stands next to Tenten as she finishes the technique. Her explanation was quite well this time round and it seemed they would be going to the C rank without any issues.

Tenten momentarily grabs 8 shurikens from her pouches, throwing them in a swift motion towards incoming bunshin Minato-sama sent; while she already molded some futon chakra; at the same moment she claps her hands, a compressed gale of wind bursts outwards; behind the shurikens she thrown increasing their speed and rotation. The bunshin puffs out from countless cuts and the shurikens force.
I like this jutsu, it complements my bukijutsu; and this is an acceptably good distraction/supplementary tech. I would imagine combining it with a Katon jutsu aswell. Oh or a combination with the following jutsu we will learn sensei, I believe it is called "Rotating Shurikens" was it? So yeah, that will be awesome; infusing shurikens with fuuton chakra increasing their rotation, and afterwards increasing their power and speed with the Gale Palm aswell.

Without any issues, and Tenten's analysis on the technique being well, Minato threw another scroll towards her. It would seem that Wind would become one of Tenten's favorite elements due to it complimenting her Bukijutsu so well. Minato then smiled as he began to talk.
"Well done, it is indeed a good technique for combination with Bukijutsu. Other than that, here you go."

Once you have done so, these bladed weapons can be manipulated to spin and attack the target. Of course, one would have to keep on focusing on the weapons, in order to keep them going towards the opponent. Use it on my clone."
