considering ichibe's the namer of everything in soul society, he could actually be older than yama. the age people look in soul society don't have that much to do with actual age. sasikibe looked like an old dude, but i guarantee than nimayo and ichibe are much much older. also, ichibe's hype was well deserved, as he is the most OP shinigami we have seen. had he fought someone like yama, he would have won.

everyone guessed there was gonna be some sort of asspull that would make juha win. obviously there is some limit to his power, or it would be impossible to beat him. but we will see.

Well I officially don't care about the Zero Division anymore, the two most interesting guys ( Oetsu and Ichibei ) are gone the only mildly entertaining RG member left is Kirinji.


OT: The chapter was..........................................meh, we all expected Ichibei to lose and at least we found out Juha Bach's letter. Now all that's left is to find out tge fate of remaining RG members (defeated) and wait for Ichigo and the peanut gallery to arrive.

Okay, this was so predictable. I am expecting some reason behind all what happened this chapter. I mean, Ichibeis bankai is the real shit, naming everything the way he wants. Now, Juha made him look like a total fodder, and, all that only because his letter was "A" and he was "The Almighty" ? Cmon now, I hate when plot takes over. I liked this weeks chapter, as soon as I read that Ichibei released Bankai, I knew it was over for him haha! Wish that Ichibei didin't release his bankai so fast. That last panel with Juha was badass!

actually, ichibe said that he named everything in soul society. that means everything of any worth within soul society, even other people creations, he named. as he was the one that named the zanpakuto. there could be no shinigami before the zanpakuto because the zanpakuto is essential in sending souls to soul society. which means that nimaiyo is ancient as hell. there could be plenty of reasons as to why yama fought juha instead of ichibe.

first of let me say that it's intirely possible that juha is way stronger than he was 1000 years ago. so as to why yama fought him them instead of ichibe, it could be because he wasn't worth his time. furthermore, ichibe is the head of the royal guard, it is only his job to fight juha if he is a threat to the soul king. also, yama didn't have the strongest zanpakuto. what was said is that he had the strongest fire type zanpakuto, just like toshiro has the strongest ice type zanpakuto(which is up for debate at the moment). what ichibe just did would have made all that power yama's zanpakuto had useless as ichibe would have just taken all it's power.

it also was never stated that yama was the strongest shinigami. yama said that no shinigami born within 2000 years has been stronger than him. which we can't really take his word for, because he had no idea how strong aizen was. as for him not facing yama 1v1, he sent his much weaker lacky to face him. all the while juha was just having a chat with aizen. he wasn't sweating yama, he even downplayed his abilities by not naming him a war potential. ichibei is stronger to yama in my opinion. i actually think nimaaiyo could be stronger as well, he just got blindsided by the quincy elite after they got boosted by ashwalen. but before then, he one shotted and speed blitzed all of them no problem. without using any sort of ability other than swinging his sword.

Ichibei's hype was built too high in the past 2 chapters, making Ywach's victory obvious. So this was everything but suprising. Still, starting to accept Ywach as a final villain.

I was kinda disappointed that ywach A standed for all mighty. I think they could have made his letter something better then all mighty, not saying it's not op as shit but it lacks final villain epicness.

Ichibei was alright but really they have focused a lot on the royal guards considering they were just introduced and all there abilities have been on par or if not better then most so far. The exceptions would be rojuro's bankai and shunsui if he fights with it.

Not too mention the whole Ichigo telling uraharra not to fight back when he was travelling back to soul society.

i can show you multiple pages where it explicity says that he has the strongest fire type zanpakuto, not necessarily the strongest. i was just reading over a lot of chapters erlier this week were it explicitly says this.

All those shinigamis pale in comparison to the monk. He called those that say bankai kids. He's older than yamamoto.
But that Aizen though. Even though Juha knows of what is going to happen, Aizen could mislead him a bit.

This chapter tell me the opposite.

Yamamoto was said to have oldest zanpakuto overall, or oldest fire type zanpakuto. If he has oldest zanpakuto overall than it's pretty clear who is older. If he only has fire type zanpakuto than it's pretty much the same since fire type zanpakutos are mostly used zanpakutos. In both, Yamamoto is one of the first shinigamis that get their zanpakutos.

Ichibei implied in this chapter that before him bankai was called different, which mean that there were a lot of bankais before he learned his.
