from your post i can tell you are confused....no zanpaktou don't give you shinigami powers....you need to be a shinigami in order to use a zanpaktou. thats #1 #2 zanpaktou are a completely different entity yes it becomes part of your soul but the zanpaktou is a different entity as seen by the asouchi ...

Thank you. Someone with common sense. Also maybe his bankai wasn't a bankai. Maybe it was just a power up or simple form change that was used to make ichigo believe he had a bankai. I mean his "bankai" robe is the EXACT same as the father of all quincies.

So if Zangetsu is Juha from 1000 years ago, would Tensa Zangetsu be a younger version of Juha as well (maybe 2000 years or something?).

As I know tensa zangetsu is one of the powerful spirit in ichigo inner world. I am not sure why the zangetsu apperance is Juha 1000 years ago, but i am pretty sure that tensa zangetsu is another person from 1000 year ago. My prediction for this appearance "tensa zangetsu" will be related to the "real owner of the zangetsu" or "Spirit King".


To know this, we have to know the real zangetsu history from 1000 years ago. Who the true founder, who is spirit king, what connection between spirit king and quicy king. Where did ishin learned his getsuga? there are alot more plot there. we wont know before the Bleach creator let us know.
