I think there's going to be a lot more to the whole Juha being his Asuchi. It does raise a lot of questions perhaps before Juha became the first Quincy perhaps he was a Shinigami it would explain his age.

This makes sense. Perhaps something really bad happened between him and a hollow and ever since that day, he swore to destroy all hollows. Hence the Quincy goal - to destroy all hollows.

If you think about it, it kinda makes sense I mean look at Ichigo's Bankai it has the nazi like symbol I mean that should have been a huge hint. It also makes me believe Juha's bankai might be Tensa Zangetsu as well.

So, if zangetsu is the manifestation of ichigo's then dormant quincy powers, does that make Hichigo his actual zanpakutou this entire time, being that the hollow spirit merges with your shinigami powers? Maybe that's why he was able to use his bankai, his zan. spirit was always there, it just wasn't who we thought it was. and since tensa zangetsu is both spirits together, that would explain the swastika on ichigo's sword hilt when in bankai. its a bit of quincy influene from zangetsu. nice.

Alright, so reading *********** confirmed what I was trying to translate from Mangareader's translation of the chapter.

Essentially, due to being composed of the souls of many shinigami, Zangetsu is a modified soul-turned-weapon that took the form of a hollow as opposed to an Asauchi. That being said, Shirosaki is Ichigo's real zanpakuto (aka his zanpakuto is a hollow). Ichigo's real power, however, lies in his Quincy lineage. Most people say that he was a shinigami that received hollow powers then Fullbring powers and finally Quincy powers, when in actuality he is a Quincy that borrowed shinigami powers and later manifested his hollow dwelling within his soul, with both deeds finally awakening Shirosaki. Juha Bach's blood running through Ichigo's veins (as it does with all Quincies) is what allowed him to enter Ichigo's psyche and masquerade as Zangetsu. Since both are genetically the same manifestation of Ichigo's power, Juha Bach and Shirosaki are in fact the same entity. Why this is the image of Juha Bach 1000 years ago, I'm not exactly sure. It could possibly be Aizen's doing. He could have tampered with White using souls of Quincies from long ago.

In summation, Hollow/Asauchi-infused Quincy + Former shinigami turned human via Gigai = Ichigo Kurosaki.

Also, if you remember, during Ichigo's fight with Kenpachi, way back when, when Ichigo fought against hichigo, afterwards hichigo says something to zangetsu along the lines of "all that power will be mine eventually". I know it was meant more in the sense of hichigo taking over ichigo's body and mind, but still

So the supposed real zangetsu was really the white holy ichigo and the black zangetsu was really ichigo's dormant Quincy taking e form of the Quincy king this seems like a good reason why zangetsu was always lending so much power and why zangetsu's reiatsu was blue and the hollow ichigo or real white zangetsu's reiatsu was red with black.
