OP, you should stop with those threads. And on the matter of fact, you should also stop using the name and picture of Martin Luther King as your profile avatar and name; it's pretty disgusting. Martin Luther King was one of my inspiration people, who fight daily for black people's rights. You, on the other hand, is trying to portray black superior to white (evil); something Luther never wished for. So please, cut those racism threads.
On topic: The cop was too irrational with his decision. Like others have said, he could have told the boy to drop the gun down but didn't. And even the gun was fake, it looked very real. I still believe racism still goes today, but both parties should stop blaming each other.
Thank you, someone else finally calling him out on the name and avatar. He calls others out on being racist and being black haters but he is trying to make black people seem superior too whites. , I am actually going over the whole civil rights thing right now in history class. This is definitely not what MLK wanted. It's more along the lines of the black panther party.
I agree with you, the cop acted too fast, he indeed could have asked the boy to put the gun down but airsoft guns these days look as real as ever, hell I have a paintball pistol that is the exact dimensions and specs as a Walther P99 and it doesn't have an orange tip on it.
All we negroes ask is fair treatment under the law.
Negro is a derogatory term for black people, stop using racial slurs.
^ 100% agreed.
Everyone should be fair when treating others or reaching a conclusion about all the things that went wrong in such a scenario, including you.
Should you judge others on the basis of their skin colour only and not pay attention to the whole circumstances at all?
If everyone took a stubborn stand and decided to look at the problem with one angle only and ignored the big picture then they would never get any solution and only divide the society in them and us. Meaning you would be only fanning racism or communalism or other similar class or community division more with no solution but more animosity.
You have been constantly making new threads or bumping up the previous ones for the sake of keeping this topic alive almost single- handedly. Take it easy. Discussion is one thing but it's an anime forum in the end with people from different nationalities. People already have a side here and you are not bringing any revolution repeating the same topic.
We won't get anywhere with this whole conflict either, if people can't be mature enough to look at the big picture and put this whole thing behind us then racism will never end. He seems to be bringing up all of this from the US, nowhere else in the world will he bring up.
It's people like him, people that continuously bring up the fact they his people were slaves and beaten that are part of the problem, not to mention the population of the american people.
Pretty sure OP is racist or likes to instigate race wars with his threads and VMs to others, mostly about race.
On topic: Saw this a few weeks ago on the news, messed up but C'est la vie.
Like shendu said, he is treating blacks superior to whites, which MLK never wanted in the first place.
Luther calls others out on being racist yet if you guys haven't noticed, he is being a racist himself.
I like how these 2 brought up great points as did everyone else and Thundertard disliked everyones post except theirs. Hmm, I wonder why? Could it be the color of their name?!?! I think that right there shows a lot about what kind of person Thundertard really is.
Black people who self victimize and harp on slavery need to start asking themselves Was I a slave? No, so don't act like you know the slaves pain and don't think you can be an activist or revolutionist just because the color of your skin because if that doesn't spell racism to you right there than I'm not sure what can open up their eyes.
I've got the slight feeling that this is all an elaborate ruse and troll to rile people up but the thundertard I know, isn't smart enough to pull this off.
