The chapter where sasuke blitzed naruto in the beginning of shippuden is totally irrelevant.



In a previous panel to that page it clearly shows sakura beneath the top of a bridge, naruto was not in sight. She jumps down behind sasuke, in the time it took for him to retrieve the kunai from sakura naruto was already in between the two and away from sasuke. Now taking into perspective on how big and far away the bridge is from the water, we can assume naruto has quite impressive speed.
Kakashi was a mere 10-20ft away, although fatigued surely he would have made it to sakura before him had naruto not of had impressive speed regardless of the starting point.

Sasuke was so fast that naruto (who was looking at sasuke) couldn't even react to him. And in Naruto's example he was already running top speed, in Sasuke's example he went from standing still to touching naruto in an instant. Sasuke is faster in base

I have, but that one speed feat BACK THEN is greater than anything Naruto in base has presented since then

He is not weak. He is on par or surpassing Part 1 Base Sharingan Kakashi. He can produce multiple Rasengan, overwhelm his opponent with his Kage Bunshin and has the regenerative abilities and inherently large chakra reserves of the Uzumaki Clan. He clearly possess Will-Power and the Will of Fire. If all fails, he can lose control and let Kurama do all the fighting after she's let loose.

If you just watch the ending. Nagato fought many other opponents including Sennin Modo Naruto and Kyuubi in Eight-Tails Mode not to mention Kakashi, Hinata, Konohamaru, Sakura, thousands of Konoha Shinobi and the fact he blew up the village..

Naruto didn't kick his posterior. The Child of Prophecy simply finished him off. In fact, in a one on one [fair], Rikudo Pein would literally kick Naruto's butt.

Sasuke may be faster in base but when both are using what they have at their disposal, we know who doesn't compare to who in terms of speed.

If what Kakashi said was valid at all, he's high jonin level. Asuma and Kurenai are jonin, yet Naruto's clearly stronger than either in base.
