Basic Naruto

Do you think basic Naruto (without SM, KCM, BM) is strong at all? I don't think so. He even can't perform a Rasengan with one hand. He even can't do his signature jutsu - Rasenshuriken. That's indeed pitiful. I wish he could do ONE Rasenshuriken in his basic form. Just Shadow clones and a rasengan which he performs with the help of one shadow clone. Of course, he's strong in terms of spirit and persistence. But in terms of power and arsenal he's a fodder in his basic form.

He is strong, but not nearly as strong as he is with his modes. lol, he is far from a fodder.

He is definetely not a fodder; but it would be better if had more and versatile ninja skills; for ex. more fuuton techs or ninjutsu other than rasengan and kage bunshin. He is strong even in base; but he is not a particularly too much "skilled" as a ninja.

By fodder, I mean a fodder in comparison of basic Sasuke and many others cause basic Sasuke has variations of at least Chidori and in terms of speed he's a God against Naruto

If he didn't have all that he'd definitely be weaker but still have a somewhat respectable amount of strength. Not fodder yet. And if he didn't have that he would have trained in other areas and gotten other techniques so he'd still end up a pretty good ninja.

remeber naruto's taijustu and massive chakra reserves, and his aresenal of rasengans, and skill with transformation attacks and him summoning gamabunta and his toad army and his inability to die due to near instant regeneration from most attacks.

He solo's most of NV base. Almost any jonin, minus obvious exeptions, all chunin and gennin, most jin, and all of the k11 minus sasuke. No he is really impressive base,

well, SM it's just something he learned in base form, it's part of his "base" arsenal too, and also has nothing to do with Kurama.

Naruto represents the body, so the modes makes sense.
but yeah, without the modes he's not all that great, but he ain't that weak either. I'd say he's Jounin level in base.

I agree with you here. Even if you take all those away, Naurto is still an Uzumaki so he has tons of chakra reserves. If he didn't have Kurama then that would mean Kushina would still be alive as well as Minato and he would have learned Uzumaki seals from his mom and FTG from his dad.

i agree though, it would be nice to see him use some other array of Wind jutsu. I expected him to fight a lot like Danzo did against Sasuke with all those wind jutsu.

sage mode is a part of basic naruto aswell soooooooo

He can perform RS in base even though his chakra network would be damaged. And he also did pretty well against deva in base form, and was skilled enough to manage a tactic to trick him.
