Why would I do that if I think she'll be the one to join?

Your logic is so simplistic it hurts. Go back a few hundred chapters and look at Robin. We had no idea what her past was like, what her dream was, or what her reason would be if she ever joined the crew. Your post basically points out what I've been trying to say all along. We know nothing about Sugar. You're basically judging a book by its cover. I'm trying to say that she could fit the crew perfectly, and at the same time, I'm saying she could possibly end up as the worst fit, as well. My point being, there are too many possibilities for anyone to rule her out.

You're basically saying that someone who has the potential to exhibit traits that would allow her to join the crew, but most likely doesn't, is a better choice than someone who already has. Yeah okay bud. By your logic Machvise, Gladius, Dellinger and Giolla are just as likely to join, and even more likely than Barto.

Why I think Sugar will join:

- I think there's a parallel between the New World and Paradise, which seems to be the case.
- I think Sugar is Robin's parallel, which is debatable at this point in time.
- Being the only one with no flashback, I think there's more to her joining than any other member of the Donquixote Family.
- Considering how Robin made a deal with Crocodile, I think Sugar and Doflamingo could've done something similar.
- Because of the points above, I think Sugar's potential exceeds that of other Dressrosa characters.


Why I want her to join:

- She's my favorite character among those who were introduced in the current arc.
- I don't think anyone else fit to be the ninth member.

Don Krieg, Wapol, Crocodile (except for Daz Bones), Enel (although he isn't really a captain), Lucci (again, not quite a Pirate Captain), Bege, Sakazuki (not a captain, had many subordinates though), Hody and Caesar did? Leaving Subordinates behind, not thinking much of them

I am pretty sure Bartho has some morals and the man that he admires the most treasures his crew more than anything else. It isn't far fetched to think he'd follow Luffy's ideals as a fan of him. Barto has considerable respect and care for his crew. And Luffy would never let him to abandon his crew just to join his crew. Luffy never had any interest in him to began with.


OT: I don't see anyone joining at this point but among those 3 Viola has better chances.
