Story:

A visual extravaganza, the story begins with Jake Sully (sam), an ex-marine who is brought into replace his dead brother for the project 'Avatar'. This requires him to go to the planet Pandora which is rich in bio diversity and the mission is to befriend the Na'vi and obtain a valuable mineral that can generate huge revenue for few corporates. Jake is guided by Dr Grace (sigourney) and he gets into the territory of the Na'vi. A sequence of events gets him to the chief and his daughter Neytiri (Zoe) is assigned the task of teaching him the nuances of the locals. However, Jake realizes that it is not just about minerals and there is something more to the entire mission. What is that mission and whether Jake succeeds or not forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:

The director has come up with a thought provoking storyline but then it is the presentation that overpowers everything. The narrative was equally competent. Dialogues were simple, the script was held intact and the screenplay was powerful. Background score reminds us of familiar tunes and certain compositions are captivating. Cinematography takes the driver's seat and gets the lion's share. The real hero of the film is the visual effects and the graphics that truly mesmerizes the viewers. Editing was crisp and is worth appreciating. Art department was unbelievably excellent, the action sequences and the stunts were mind blowing. Coming to the cast, Sam Worthington did justice to his role and he played his part effectively, Zoe looks beautiful even in the avatar creation and her presence is sensuous, Sigourney was sensible and was apt, Giovanni Ribisi didn't have much, Michelle Rodriguez was neat, Stephen Lang was standard. Others did their bit to add value to the film.

Conclusion:
The story revolves around the elements of a different planet altogether and though the entire theme is fiction, there is a strong message to the viewers. It talks about humanity, love, peace and most importantly, the importance to Mother Nature. The impact of the technical aspects has been resoundingly mesmerizing and despite the 2 hours 45 minutes length, there is not a single moment of idle time. Overall, the film is a marvel in terms of technology and has got enough emotions to make the audience get transported to a different world altogether. This has scored in all the departments.

Magnificent and mesmerizing, it's a journey, don't miss it!!!

I found some parts pretty awkward like how he fell in love with an alien and how he had an identity crisis. Favorite parts in the film include: Aircraft vs flying beasts, badass pilot girl going one on against the Colonel's ship (you ain't the only one with guns, bi-atch), and of course the fact that the Colonel just couldn't die! (I think he's a Spartan xD)

I will rate the movie 7/10

Good Points
CG effects is great and the plot of the story is good

Bad Points
It doesn't lead the two races to harmony. I was hoping along the last chapter of the movie scene that Humans and Avatars will unite and become friends.

I can't elaborate my whole point here in order to make our viewers eager to watch the movie. But when your done watching it then you can picture it out what I mean.
