Which can even go long range? Plus asuma can't sense zabuza in the mist. If he blows it away zabuza can easily create more

no, asuma knife can cut a free and boulder in half one swipe brakes the sword just like killer bee did but faster as wind is a sharper blade, sure it is zabza need time to build up the chacra to use it, asuma is very fat and would hit zabuza, once again zabuza has to use a lot more charcra then asuma to make mist then blow it away. so the longer the fight goes the more likely asuma wins. Also the amount of blood to make a new sword might kill zabuza

this one is close.but asuma really doesnt have a counter to zabuza`s mist so he cant see or hear zabuza because of zabuza`s silent killing techniques.zabuza counters asuma`s fire technique with water release and asuma`s wind release blades wouldnt do him any good here because he wouldnt be able to locate where zabuza is....as for asuma`s trump card welcoming approach:thousand armed murder that would be his gratest defense and offense...so the fight would be intense and interesting but i dont think asuma`s thousand armed murder would last long...zabuza wins IMO

wind style is the counter, and zabuza water style takes a long time wile asumas is fast.

Yes Asuma is a wind user. But have you ever seen mist on a windy day? The mist would still be there and Zabuza can make the mist thicker and thicker until visibility is zero. He's also a silent killing specialist. Any sound Asuma makes puts him in danger.

he can make it thicker and waste chacra but asuma can blow it all away with a c rank move, the rp guy above can attest to that

if zabuza`s mist would be so easily blown away,then surely someone would have done it when zabuza was reanimated...but it was a hell of a trouble....like 50 guys couldnt handle the fog and kakashi had to eliminate zabuza to stop the mist..i just dont think asuma would have handled it by himself...kakashi barely did it with his sharingan and his sense of smell and he had to get blood on zabuza`s blade to do so in part 1...

do you have ANY idea how MANY hand seals does Giant Vortex need? 18 that's A LOT, on the other hand, Asuma's Dust Cloud Technique is FREAKING SUPER FAST and requires just 3 hand seals, he could do this technique 6 times and Zabuza would do only 1 + there is no guarantee there is water source nearby O__O

maybe, but if Kakashi could counter Zabuza in Hidden Mist, why shouldn't Asuma who was even guardian of Fire Lord? personally think that yes, Kakashi is stronger than Asuma, but Asuma is better in short-range combat AND has more experience, as Zabuza prefers short range, i think it's obvious that Asuma could beat Zabuza

you do understand Wind Nature is SUUUUUUPER rare? we have seen only a couple of people to actually use it AND let's not forget, that Zabuza never fought anyone who has Wind nature, Naruto doesn't count as he didn't know he had it xd + Temari herself stated that she is the 2nd strongest Wind User of the Alliance (think she didn't count Tsuchikage, but still xd) so i doubt that there are some high skilled Wind users in alliance

no per say kakashi had battled him before and wanted to do it in a way he knew would work. also we did not know if there were any really good wind users there

No it doesn't it's a d rank move it's an easy jutsu to use and zabuza has more chakra then asuma anyway so. Oh and yea asumas going to use burning ash and zabuzas going to stand there for 5 minutes but thats not gonna happen he's gonna jump out of the ash

blowing away the mist is a little more then a assumption, the mist is a D rank, wind a a C rank allowing the C to take the upper hand also the move has been shown to blow away smoke bombs ect so mist would not be must diffrent. So its 99% he can and also its worth noting that in the rp ect wind does blow it away

Its not super fast. The ino-shika-cho trio dodged it. So its pretty mich on the slower side.

Hidan was 31.5 and he beat asuma
