also protein shakes, whey or whatever, all of those should be supplements. and you cant just take in a whole bunch and expect muscles. you have to take in a certain amount depending on your body weight and body fat.
you should take 1-1.25g of proteins for each lean body mass you have or something like that. example if you weigh 200lbs and have 10% body fat you should take 180g of proteins a day..
but for me that seems too much. anyways most of your proteins should be coming from chicken, turkey, beef and fish. and if you need more than you supplement with supplements. people do the exact opposite and its wrong.
carbs are also more important than proteins. you should get your carbs from fruits, veges and pastas.
but like Kage said most of those protein stuff are crap. none of it is tested and for all you know it could be sugar powder with a whey protein label on it.
btw im not a professional or nothing and dont take any of my word for it but do your own research about body building and protein and dieting and be thurough, some people odnt know what they are talking about. look for things from nutritionists and personal trainers
dont take that protein shake crap it all garbage just get on the proper diet all that protein shake stuff does it add on whats called water weight u get big but then if u stop u jus get fat also not everyones body can digest that crap and u end up with deposits in ur body that need to be surgeically removed all ive ever done and i went from 160 to 25o in the last 3 years
it ur life but nuthing is or will ever be better then a proper diet and hard work thats a fact
