Which leads one to wonder why Sasuke didnt prevail over Naruto. Obviously world Rikudou chakra>Bijuu Chakra

Naruto used Ashura level power woth a piece of each bijuu (baby if you will). Sasuke had the complete chakra.

Then Indra would all the same also use those baby bijuu chakra to one up Ashura and kill him. That's why bijuus were not involved in their battle. The bijuus don't even know who Ashura and Indra is and they said that the last time they met altogether was when Hagormoo was alive. So there is no way Ashura ever had all nine bijuus as one again after Hagormoo given the kyuubi's flashback.
