Are you afraid of death?

i am always thinking about it and i always tell people iam not affraid but once i am alone in my

room and start thinking about it and how alone it feel and how one minute your live and the

next you could be dead it scares the hell out of me.

im afraid if theres no heavan just nothing it really scares me thinking about that though i just keep thinking there is 100% so i dont go on some random religion conspiracy theory rant mostly afraid of how my family would feel (not trying to sound like everyone loves me just being realastic) i dont want to leave my little bro without a role model

Honestly im not afraid of dieing i just hope that my death is not anytime soon(because i would feel very unaccomplished)

I'm afraid of it right now cuz I'm not ready to die yet ,I still have many things to do but if I die then what can I do ,at least I know I haven't done much evil stuff in my life .

Right? I'm always scared cause I know life will go on for like ever after I'm gone
Instead I always wanted it to end when I died. But that's life man all you can do is live with no regrets. Cause that's worse than not going to an afterlife IMO

I'm not afraid of death. I just hope I don't die anytime soon, because I didn't even graduate yet, and I'd feel unaccomplished.

I would be terrified if someone tried to kill me, although I would fight back. :mugi:

Yes, I am but Im working on overcoming this fear.
My fear of death, along with many other ppl, is a result of the teachings by religion.

I do not fear death...death is afraid of me. Of course, I've realized something that few people ever have, and it's made me very comfortable with death.

Stephen Colbert's joke goes with this quite well I think...maybe in bad taste, but the end is the most important part:

OK. So a guy commits suicide. And he goes to heaven, he gets to heaven.

And God greets him there, and the guy said, "I'm so surprised I'm here. First of all, I thought there was no God. Second of all, I thought if you killed yourself, you know, you were damned forever."

God said, "You know, that's a complicated issue. Everybody at least thinks about ending it, you know, killing themselves at some point." And God says, "Even I've thought of it."

What is scary is that we dont know what is beyond death. Many say there is another world, there is heaven and hell, come say we just sleep but in reality nobody knows. and that is what scares the crap out of some of us
