He solo's the professor with pure genjutsu. Also, Amaterasu will prove too difficult for hurizen to dodge, Counter. Also, Even for itachi's Time limit on Susano'o, He can still finish hurizen off with it.

If all fails, Izanami.

Hiruzen has shown the prowess to take on strong genjutsus. But also, I'm pretty sure Hiruzen would know of Itachi's genjutsu.

For one, "pure genjustsu" doesn't mean anything at all. If Gai, Kurenai and Asuma can evade Sharingan, you bet your ass a Hokage can! He has knowledge on Itachi!

Hiruzen was said to have mastered every jutsu of the hidden leaf.. he is a kage so he has high wisdom and intellectual skills... you tellin' me you don't think Hiruzen would know what Itachi is capable of or what he would do?

I would put him so in between Tobirama and Hiruzen. Well Itachi IS strong but Tobirama made a room crack with only lifting one finger and besides this he is the brother of Hashirama who is at god tier level.

i have to disagree with you, hokage is just a position, there are stronger ninja's who are not hokage, example madara, nagato and itachi

Idk about that, when Hiruzen took on Oro, he was really scared about the idea of Minato being revived, even after the Senju bros were revived. Hiruzen wanted to stall the 9 Tails until Minato could come take care of it. Maybe a younger Hiruzen stands a chance but I strongly believe Hiruzen would lose out to Minato. About Tsunade, Minato has the reflexes to dodge all of her punches which is the main concern. I don't think Tsunade could touch Minato in a fight 1 v 1 and Minato could always use the advantage of FTG and chop her head off.
To stay on topic this would be my ranking

3. Minato/Itachi
4. Itachi/Minato
5. Tsunade

Hashirama will make itachi cry.

Madara is 10x Itachi and Hashirama put madara to bed too early.

Let's all remember one thing about Tsunade... while she may be the weakest of the Hokage and probably the weakest of the Sannin, her true worth does not come via her strength but through her medical ninjutsu. She got completely wrecked by just one Pain and i'm pretty sure she wouldn't even be able to solo Kakashi but the reason she is a Sannin is because she is the greatest medic ninja in the world which is possibly even more useful in missions. Let's all agree that Tsunade may be a relatively weak Kage in general but in terms of value she is up there with the best of them.
