I think it would be a good idea but there are some flaws. For one its technically a reform of the current roleplaying system and for it to be fair and give equal chance to all members of the roleplaying community all current abilities would have to be reset and all Kumi would have to be reset as well.
You would also get alot of spam posts because people are trying to up there Kumi which means unwanted and useless posts.
It also doesn't take into account roleplay ability. You could end up with a load of people who are technically awful roleplayers with hax abilities which would destroy the roleplay as people wouldn't want to get involved.
And lastly you would need extra staff to monitor and deal with the transactions and controlling the distribution of abilities.
I'll address your concerns one by one:
It doesn't introduce a new RP system, everybody would keep what they currently have.
Spamming posts isn't that effective five posts equals 1 kumi, you'd need to post 500 times for just 100 kumi, as such many wouldn't be tempted to spam enough for 10k kumi, and people who do so could simply get their kumi reduced.
Not really, as expensive as it is not many people have enough kumi to actually purchase these things and most who do have been on the site long and pretty much have these abilities anyway.
Yes, we probably would need a staff member to look over the kumi transactions and to monitor the monetary system.
Hardly anything would be changed, this just gives those who have alot of kumi, but aren't skilled enough to win tournaments, and such a chance at becoming a decent RPer. (Not that these things would make up for skill, but they would help.)
