God I wish I was a wolf, this game is just hard to get into.
This ain’t it chiefvote: Michelle
Movement on this vote is pending, I think Michelle is a wolf. I think they are commenting on how to play the game a lot more then the game itself. It feels weird to me.
This vote is bad and is subject to being moved. But it's the best thing I have that doesn't make me hate myself.
So far my susses are for poison, tiger, thestatusquo, rej and bee number 2.
Reasons are for some playing styles feel off, some feel eager to get town support and some were active for the fluff posts and but disappeared when actual game got going on.
So yeah, Ratchet is one hundred percent anti-town.
Bro this Toujo - X shit is taking up a lot of the thread space
I don't even know if it's worth exploring, does anybody actually think there's a wolf there or can we vote beeboat already?
Toujo, X is repping a peek on you, jsyk
Vote : Toujo
I'm saying that I know for sure.
Lol @TheLukundo you made us Lynch town and got modkilled.
Anyway tiger and toujo is sus for me, but are they both scum? I don't know.
@Toujo so do you think X has no possibility of being role restrained like Luke and Elmage's roles?
I already said I wasn't interested in your conflict, I skipped all wall posts
unless you think me pushing the obvious wolves over some wall posting conflict that I don't care about makes me wolf then I suggest calming down because you're not helping your case at all by acting like a turd.
I am sure your long mafia experience showed you i am an obvious villager and you only want to bait me into a fight.
This will not happen.
Michelle is obviously a staged mislynch.
My eyes are on other guys right now.
I think Toujo vs X is town vs town. At this point I doubt they are wolf vs town or wolf vs wolf acting (which was a tinfoil I heard earlier).
I figured it was most likely a red check so I voted accordinglydont forget to give examples or quotes
also welcome to the game
why do you think that?
seriously I am not understanding your play here, you dont think there is wolf there but somehow votes ratchet?
Or do you think X is coming from some ability?
hmmm
what do you think of others btw.
reason?
what do you think?
then why are you voting him?
Implying?
why is that?
what are your current reads?
care to explain why you think that? Because I personally feel like its a bit forced.

WOW my colors barely show up. Hopefully you can discern the color from only the numbers before each name.
If I'm supposed to get something from these, it's lost on me. My understanding is obviously the closer to red the colour is, the scummier they find them. This is a needlessly obtuse way of presenting your reads. I gather that Ansa and Luk are your two main scum reads, but I'm confused as to your placement of me then. I don't know why you have a town lean on Aether, I don't know why you read TSQ and Angelus as Townie as you read yourself, and I don't know why you wasted all this time sorting these people out into reads with nothing yet supporting them (from you).
No, I've had enough. It's time to start trying harder X. We're over halfway through the phase, and this is all you have to show for it. For starters, let's hear the rationale behind your top two scum reads and your top two town reads, and then we can work through why you've sorted these as so.
Vote: XTMF
Interesting reaction. It's almost like you were waiting to pounce on me.
Didn't you already repeat that first line on Poison this game? How is this obtuse, Ratchet? You act like you've never seen a reads list before. I think there's something different about Ansa right out of the gate and I feel like he's playing too aggressively. I also don't like how he's chosen Poison and Tiger as his first targets to pick on; two members of the scum team last game. While Ansa doing this could be just his pent-up frustration from last game, his actions and reactions almost seem too methodically compared to last game where I felt he was more natural and easy-going. Luk has also been a tad aggressive, but dissimilar to the purely chaotic aggression he was showing last game. There were also a couple of specific things, but I've forgotten already (if you really must know, I suppose I can ISO Luk later). Your placement is simply yellow, not too suspicious, but still on the list. Your defense of Bee and you saying "I mean, given he was scum last game, Bee would have motivation to subtly change how he plays regardless of what he rolled, no?" pinged me because reading your posts this game, you are playing differently than I think I've ever seen you play before, and I just pinged on that subtle connection. Aether gets a soft blue town read because I've watched him play town now twice in a row and feel this could be the start of his town game as well (TBD). I think TSQ seemed game and ready to play and stir up the pot a bit. Angelus nicely defended himself from Poison's accusations (which I believe was her stirring up the pot a bit). And I mean, are you really questioning why I read myself town? Should I put myself on my own scum list? What are you trying to get at there?
What have you had enough of, exactly? You and I have not had a single interaction yet in this game, you actually defended me when Poison accused me of being scum because I was apparently playing like her scum meta, and I've clearly stated I was going to be busy until now. I was up at three thirty this morning to go and work for twelve hours (including six hours of driving) and I'm exhausted and want to go play Fallen Order. However, as I promised last night, I came on to catch up and be a respectful player to the host and my fellow players. Now, if you're not scum, **** you because you're being rude. Any other questions?
Lewd. But also yes.
Indeed. For different reasons, but yes.
It's not the reads list that's the issue. It's the weird system you've used that just makes it harder to determine due to the order it is placed in. I don't know what's wrong with "Town/Lean-Town/Null/Lean-Scum/Scum", and ranking the list in order roughly. Instead of using like 7 different colours to represent the same thing.
That's fair. It has also pinged me a little, how I've made some attempts to discuss with Ansa, but he has made no effort at all to engage with me. I feel like if the angle was just mere frustration, then I should also be an object of that for him, in fact he should be feeling very confident in his ability to read me right about now. So to make no effort at all on his end is surprising to me.
Not so sure about this one. Last game I started to engage Luk, but pulled off when it was looking like I was going to be a leading lynch candidate, and never picked it back up again because there was no reason to do so. I want to hold his feet to the fire more this game, and I feel a number of his posts have been nonsensical. I don't however see his play as drastically different from last game.
Eh. I mean, I'm not wrong. If Bee rolled scum again, he'd have reason to change it up, and he has the fluidity in his approach to easily do just that. As for me playing differently, I mean I guess? My point is to say that, Town or Scum, using just the last game as a baseline for expected behaviour for any alignment is somewhat flawed. You actually have a town read on Bee, which is interesting given this rationale.
I'll be frank - I'm not even going to pretend to understand this one. I don't find Aether particularly scummy. I just don't notice anything of note he's done. I think Aether would agree with that assessment too.
I feel like you missed my point here. My issue was you'd ranked those two players at the same level as you ranked yourself - what am I to take from that if not "very strong town read"? I actually don't really care much for people including themselves in their own reads lists, but when you introduce the styling you have, and you put yourself at the top (obviously) and teo others share that position, I'm going to question it when it comes without reason.
I mean, I believe you on that. I just wasn't impressed by what you put forth when you did come into this thread. Most of this post is much better though, at least because it gives some reasons behind your logic, and reasons I actually find, well... reasonable. Yet, I'm not removing my vote just yet, because...
I dislike this part. Particularly the bolded. It feels like an Appeal to Emotion, forcing me to either accept I'm being rude or I'm scum. I don't feel like I have been rude, all told. Aggressive, maybe? Sure. One more question - between Ansa and Luk, which one would you prefer to lynch today?
So, you're upset because I used colors instead of words? I know you're a smart guy Ratchet, so don't play dumb here and pretend like me using colors instead of saying "Town/Lean-Town/Null/Lean-Scum/Scum" for every player.
Now you're upset because I ranked myself? Look Ratchet, you're firing blanks at me and I'm not really sure why. You're literally clashing with me over how I decided to organize my reads list. It took me three minutes to color everybody's username with the shade I thought they were leaning. I wasn't really looking to make a giant, in-depth reads lists, ranked from towniest to scummiest. I copied and paste the player's list and viola, a super simple, shallow look at how I'm viewing players.
And finally you keep your vote on me because of emotion, instead of anything else. Gee Ratchet, this kind of looks like a shit case to me. I'd prefer to lynch Luk but I don't think either of them are the best D1 lynches.
From his first couple of posts where he spent time responding to individual posts from the majority of the players, where there was a lot of fluff involved, to his responses to Luk and Poison, as well as him coming after me despite previously defending me, I'm having a real hard time trying to understand what a town Ratchet is doing right now. I think there's something up with him and every move and post he's made so far has felt so unnatural from what I usually expect from him.
Vote @Toujo
@XTMF Your argument is nothing. I refuse to believe out if everything you've seen, based on your own reads too, that you think I'm the best lynch today. You've failed to provide any specific examples for your arguments, or even really why you got to your conclusions, and you've refused to push your alleged stronger scum reads whatsoever, all game long thus far. My vote is staying on you. And should we both be alive Day 2, it'll be back on you again (probably), because if you are town this game you are frankly doing a piss poor job of showing it. You've appealed to meta, and I'm not letting that slide. If we're to recommence this Day 2, I hope you step it up.
I'm really not sure what game you're trying to play at the moment. You had a big post on Poison yet I'm your strongest suspect? Over what exactly? And Alice literally JUST made a rainbow read list before your post yet you didn't comment on it, but had a lot to say when I did so myself. You also came after me specifically where there were other players who were as active or less active as me, so coming after me, after defending me against Poison, just doesn't make sense. I'm not sure how you can determine within my twentish posts that I've apparently done such a terrible job that you can call my performance piss poor. What have you done in this game exactly?
On the topic of X:
My main problem with X was, every point I would raise, he would remove context and address the version he created, rather than what I said. This is a textbook strawman. Example:
X has his reads, and two players are the same tier he himself is in. I ask why that is, hoping that he has some very good reasons to put them in a "lock town" tier (given he himself is in that one). His response: "why is it strange to put myself as town?"
Example:
"why is a reads list with no reasons the only thing you have done?"
Alice later does the same.
X - "why are you not calling out Alice" (ignoring that Alice has far more content than him)
I don't believe I was the best lynch from his perspective at all. He came short of calling my play actually scummy, and just that he hasn't seen it from me before. I don't know if it was frustration or opportunitism, but it was not a very rational move.
The one thing in his favour is if he had got my lynched, my flip would have reflected very poorly on him, and I'm not sure I see the scum motivation from him to do so. It could be he's trying to respond to my claims last game where I pointed out he tends to agree with what I say and buddy me when he's scum, but I don't know. I want to see his response here, without the threat of a lynch too so less pressure due to Luk.
Interesting night you had, eh?
You and I had a single exchange but somehow you're saying I'm straw manning every one of your arguments? You're way too smart to actually think I was reading two players at the same level as myself and I'm sure no one read my list and thought that other than you. And I asked you a legitimate question in regards to my concern that you were pouncing on me when the behavior you apparently pinged on that I exhibited had also been displayed in other players. You're exaggerating how much more content Alice has than me in this game, but what does that even matter? A reads list isn't based on that player's activity, it's based on what you've read and what you've seen. So how on earth are you trying to discredit my reads list or find something scummy about it yet you didn't call out Alice for her reads list? The fact of the matter is that I've been reading and paying attention to this game just as well as anyone, I just haven't been as vocal as I was last game.
And how could you determine my perspective if I supposedly don't have that much content? There's a reason why I took my time voting for you, because I was still watching the game unfold. From the time I made my reads list, to the time I cast my vote, there was more than ample time to alter how I felt about the game. I also find it hilarious that you call my move irrational considering you weren't even around for most of D1 yet can still say with accuracy how I'm thinking about this game.
This is a bad paragraph right here. If I was scum, how on earth would I know what your role is in D1? So for your flip to reflect poorly on me just isn't something that I would have known one way or another. This is also a false representation of how I play as scum and with this being the final thing you said in this paragraph, it really takes away from you trying to give me a point in my favor, no?
Vote @Toujo
I hope everyone finds some time to read this post over. I am of the mind that Ratchet is attempting a smear campaign on me in order to set me up as a lynch down the road. However, my conviction of this isn't simply in his play, and I know that he is one hundred percent anti-town.
Hmm I need to check his interpretation.Imo I didn’t really like SK’s posting yesterday either
In particular, looking at the TAC flip, SK’s interpretation there looks more like a slip than anything.
I question a villager going “whoa isn’t this shady?” when somebody is repping a red check on someone. As a wolf, on the other hand, you already know the alignments of people so it’s a lot more natural to question “wth is going on, why is a villager red checking a villager?”
You hang on for a moment before I get to michelle i am gonna go over your posts, made me chuckle. Not sure how exactly you are reading people interpretations here.Jesus christ SK
It’s a red peek claim, it self resolves within a day phase, who cares, X is most likely telling the truth
Why is Michelle scum?
Town have lost 5 members. Come on guys step up your town game.
And I don't think I'm gonna get Poison lynch for today but that doesn't mean she's no longer my scum read. She's still.
I'm going to focus on my second scum read Tigerrr and also on SoulKiller. I'm going to ISO them.
