A few updates:-

Update 1: From now on it is advised that people use "Wolf" instead of "Scum" to refer to anti-town players. This is because "Scum" is an unpleasant term and it can lead to misunderstandings. Also using the term might lead to a ban because it will be considered an insult in certain contexts. For example: "Player X is scum" vs "Player X is wolf". I think it's obvious which one sounds better. The term scum will be phased out entirely from the guides posted here and will be replaced with wolf.

Update 2: The voting format in the rules has been changed to this:-

-Vote: This format is used when you put your first vote in the Day Phase. The general format is:-

-Change Vote: This format is used when you change your current vote for a player to another player. The general format is:-

Vote @ Player Name

-Abstain Vote: This format is used when you don't want to vote for any player in the Day Phase. It can also be used to negate your previous votes. Most hosts will allow you to vote even after making an abstain vote. The general format is:-

This move has been done to ensure consistency in the voting format and reduce confusion among players. Game Hosts are encouraged to follow the voting format in the spoiler in their games.

Update 3: "Bastard Game Mechanics" has been replaced with "Unpredictable Game Mechanics". This has been done because Bastard is an unpleasant term and carries a stigma with it. By replacing the term with "Unpredictable" it encourages a taste which is fine with some unpredictable elements in Mafia Games (Basically, Bastard games and Unpredictable games are the same things). The term Bastard has been phased out from this point onwards.

Update 4: The "Unpredictable Game Mechanics" have been listed

• Obtain approval to use them in their game from a Game Manager.
• The Game Host must publicly announce that their games contain "Unpredictable Game Mechanics".

The first one is to ensure that these mechanics are not used often in mafia games. The second one is to ensure that all players are aware of probable imbalances and twists in the game.

Update 5: The Rules on Unpredictable Games Mechanics has been tweaked:-

Unpredictable Game Mechanics in this context, are defined as elements which go beyond a reasonable measure of expectation for a player to have. The alternate account rule has been edited to this:-

"You are not allowed to use multiple accounts to participate in a mafia game. You may not pretend to be two separate human beings. You can only use one account in a mafia game."

What this means you can use an alternate account to play in a game to prevent meta reads on your playstyle. However, you cannot use multiple accounts in one game.

After discussion with @SoulKiller regarding his game: [X], the following punishments have been decided.

• @Aomine Daiki has been banned from playing mafia games till 08th March 2019 for not playing the game he signed up for.
• @River Taiga has been banned from playing mafia games till 08th March 2019 for only posting twice and not playing the game at all after that.
• @Xen has got one strike for going inactive in the game. The strike will expire on 8th February 2019. If he goes inactive in a game while the strike is active he will get a game ban.
• @Konno has got one strike for going inactive in the game. The strike will expire on 8th February 2019. If she goes inactive in a game while the strike is active he will get a game ban.

If you want to discuss the punishments you can contact @SoulKiller through Private Conversations. You are not allowed to discuss punishments in public.
