Planting his skull-shaped staff in the dirt, Mystogan stepped foot into Minas Morgul for the first time in years, looking around the dark, mountain summit which was his home; the home of his clan. He looked around; when he had left Minas Morgul, Mystogan had little knowledge of Keigoku, in fact, he really only knew the extent of the side-effects the chakra had on his body; he had no idea how to control it. But now he was stronger, and has returned to his home country to advance his training.
I am here! Mystogan called out into the emptiness. Come out, clan elders, and see how the ninja who left years ago has grown!

Akuma watches from the top of the tower as Mystogan made his way back. Hmm.. Mystogan began to yell and shout and suddenly he found himself at swordpoint, Akuma standing behind him with a katana at his throat.

Stop yelling, we can hear you just fine.

However, after the initial shock of the blade, Mystogan relaxed his body, all functions returning to how they were before the assumed-elder held the blade to him.

How am I to know if you are indeed still loyal to the clan and not attempting to sneak in and find a way to kill me? As you may or may not remember, I'm quite paranoid and don't like to take chances...

Akuma pushes the blade slightly harder, causing a thin trail of blood to start to flow from Mystogan's neck as Akuma awaiting his response.

To begin with, I walked into Minas Morgul without attempting to hide myself through the clansmen passageways. Then I began to shout to call people down to where I am. Finally, even though you are so close, I'm not even attempting to fight back, even with a sword to my throat. If I came here to kill you, I would have taken a less direct route, I would have been quieter, and there would already have been an attempt to fight back.
Closing his eyes, Mystogan ran through all those members he knew during his time living with the Nekura clan, and came to the conclusion that a person like this must be Akuma. Smirking beneath his mask, Mystogan remained quiet for a while, allowing Akuma to register what he had said, before he made a second statement.
I came here to learn, sir; learn the arts of my clan which I do not know.

Everything? O_O Well, it's been a few years, so I'll do what I can remember...:
Back during the time of the Sage of Six Paths, after he sent the body of the Juubi into space, trapping it in the moon, he rested. When the Sage rested, chakra from the foul beast left behind on earth sought out our ancestor, who was a bitter person... I can't remember his first name. O_O But his last name was Nekura....
All members of the Nekura clan have the Mark of the Demon somewhere on their body; it's common to have it on one's hand, like the first Nekura, but some people have it elsewhere, like myself where it's over my right eye. The Mark of the Demon is the "bridge" which connects the Nekura clansmen and the Juubi in the moon. It's because of the mark that the Nekura can do what we do...
Through the Mark of the Demon, the Nekura are able to pull the foul chakra of the Juubi from the moon where its body is sealed and into this world through a small portal we can generate anywhere in our general area. The chakra of the Juubi is foul and corrupt, making it so when the chakra touches another sentient being, their mind becomes overwhelmed by the chakra and they will be unable to think straight; Nekura techniques are mind-crushing jutsu. We call this chakra of the Juubi, Keigoku. The Keigoku is an intangible substance, allowing it to travel through objects of certain size and density, depending on the power of the user.
Because of the Mark of the Demon and the connection to the Juubi, Nekura clansmen have a few innate abilities, which I personally have been enjoying on my travels. For one, our body rejects foreign chakra because of the Mark, making it so that we are unaffected by genjutsu, Jyuuken, other clansmen's Keigoku techniques, and other harmful techniques which inject chakra into our bodies. That said, we are also immune to Curse Marks, Sage Mode, most Medical Ninjutsu, and a few other helpful techniques. In addition, our Keigoku jutsu make summoning animals turn against their summoner, as well as the fact that when a Jinchuriki taps into the chakra of their Bijuu, they will not fight us as the Bijuu sees us as the Juubi itself.
An ability of higher-up Nekura clansmen is the Drain. Uhh... Personally, I know very little about the Drain; it allows the user to take chakra from victims of their Keigoku jutsu, and it only available to clansmen well-versed in the ways of Keigoku, which does not include myself... Black Knight, maybe?
Anyhow, the Nekura clansmen, the ones born to the clan, are born to this country, the demon country Minas Morgul. One does not have to be born into the Nekura clan to use Keigoku, but they will have to undergo a burning sensation as they gain the Mark of the Demon.
Mystogan stopped to think for a moment.
Other than the fact that a higher-up member of the Nekura clan can use the same jutsu as a lower-ranked member with more power, for example the Clan Council's jutsu are twice as powerful as a seekers, even if they use the same technique, I can't think of anything else...

Correct for the most part.

The Drain is pretty much what you said. After using a Nekura technique that has made contact with a foe, advanced members of the clan are able to call that chakra back to them, allowing it to 'heal' wound that the user has or at least fool the user's body into performing at top levels, despite the injuries they have. However, after the fight is over with, your body is injured even further if you used it, requiring medical attention for injuries as low as a bruised rib. Only members of Black Knight and higher can use this.

Once one of their Keigoku attacks have connected with the opponent, instead of letting their Keigoku dissipate, the Nekura bring the Keigoku back to them and pour the stolen strength from the opponent's mind into theirs. This firms up their mind, and even if they have injuries makes their mind pretend it isn't there and force the body to function as it normall would. Since this isn't really a cure, after the battle the Nekura will feel their injuries again plus an extra 25 damage points due to the strain of forcing their body. As many damage points as the opponent is hit with, that many damage points the user may force their mind to believe it isn't affecting their body.

Now then. Every Nekura has a different method, so you'll have to work out what yours is. We've already had insane laughter, ruthless ambition, violent bloodshed, dark ambitions, and excessive pride. Try to feel the connection the cursed chakra has with you in your body. You do this by different methods; some Nekura feel this initially only when they have particularly viciously killed someone, myself being one of them; but everyone has their own methods to establish contact.

Oh, and here. This could come in handy, it protects against most taijutsu attacks and kunais/shuriken thrown at you.

Taking a few steps away from Akuma, Mystogan begins to draw upon his old memories, trying to find a source of powerful emotion. He began to think of the staff which his loving father had crafted for him, how it was destroyed in a battle which he was forced to flee. Mystogan thought of his brother, Jellal, and how, because of him, he now had to wear this heavy cloathing and a mask so those with a grudge against his twin brother didn't go out to kill him. How he was not of a high enough caliber to be sent on proper missions from his own village. Focusing on the man who broke his staff, and on his brother Jellal, the two men he wanted to kill most, Mystogan began to feel the rage within himself building. Pulling on the disappointment he felt in himself when his power was not considered enough, transforming his desire to become stronger into an anger at his weakness, Mystogan continued to build upon his intense emotions; these feelings of vengeance and the power he would have to achieve to obtain such vengeance! As Mystogan still more concentrated on this rage he had been bottling up for years underneath both literal and metaphorical masks, a sensation began to build over his right eye, following the path of the Demon's Mark. Mystogan's thirst for vengeance upon these people, upon his brother, the man who broke his father's gift, and those who considered him weaker than themselves, fed the evil chakra to which his body was connected, the Juubi. Through the Mark of the Demon, the seal over Mystogan's right eye, his vengeful ambition and sheer hatred of these people transferred towards the Juubi, supplying it with a type of "sacrifice" which pleased the great beast. In return for these emotions, the Juubi sent back a sliver of its own potent chakra; the mass of hatred it has converted to power. As the chakra began to enter Mystogan's body, the seal over his eye began to glow, the intense sensation sending a bolt of pain through his mind.

With the chakra entering Mystogan's body fully, giving him a taste of what the Juubi truly felt like beyond the rejection of genjutsu, he fell to his knees, removing the covering from his head and face, hoping exposure to the cool night air would soothe the pain, even if only slightly.
Agh! Akuma-san... This power... How long will it keep a hold of me? Its power is great... Too great!
Closing his eyes, Mystogan tried to turn his thoughts away from the pain, away from the first time a chakra which was not his had entered his body. The pain itself was great, but the additional agony brought on by an inexperience of handling foreign chakra was more surprising than harmful, forcing to experience something which he had never felt before; something new. Trying to distract himself from this, Mystogan thought of that man, the one who broke his staff he had as a child. The face of that man taunted him, and then his brother stepped up next to the man, grinning down upon his twin brother, brought to his knees. Looking up, Mystogan stammered,
Their heads... Shall be my prized possession!

Reaching out and grabbing a hold of his skull-topped staff, Mystogan pulled himself up to his knees so he was no longer doubled over. Squeezing his eyes shut intensely, Mystogan began to focus on the feel of the corrupt chakra overflowing within him. Concentrating before him, focusing on the sensation which was causing pain as if it were his own chakra, and otherwise treating it as such, Mystogan attempted to use his normal feel of shape-manipulation for his normal chakra before him with this sensation. Focusing with all his might to channel the foreign chakra outside of his body as if it were his own, Mystogan glared through squinted eyes at a space before himself, focusing on the portals he had witnessed as a child of the elders of the Nekura clan, trying to recreate the image in his minds eye. Watching the open space, doing everything he did to manipulate his personal chakra to the foreign chakra invading his body, Mystogan could only concentrate, watch, and hope that he would be able to create a portal, as requested of him, and that the creation of the portal would alive him of the intense pain burning in his head.

Good, good. Now that you have the portal open, try to establish a connection between that symbol on your hand (that's the generic placement of the Nekura clan symbol. You can have it located elsewhere if you'd like.) and the foul chakra on the moon. Use the chakra from the symbol to act as a honing beacon, so to speak, drawing the chakra towards it first.

Mystogan nodded, staring forwards into the portal which he had created. Concentrating on his own chakra, Mystogan focused it into the mark over his right eye, calling forth once again the emotions which overtook him earlier. Drawing on the sensation of the Juubi's foul chakra, Mystogan used his chakra in the Mark of the Demon, the "bridge" between the Juubi and himself, and his emotions to call forth another burst of the Juubi's chakra, using his chakra to amplify the natural connection between the monster Juubi and himself. Focusing on everything he had done previously to obtain this sliver of the Juubi's power he now had, Mystogan tried as hard as he could to recreate the circumstances in which his emotions were at a point to draw the power of the Juubi, all the while channeling chakra into the Mark of the Demon over his eye in attempts to create a beacon-effect which would draw in even more power for the next step of his training.

Now, as you can see, the chakra that is emitted from this portal is very dangerous, capable of causing near immediate incapacitation upon contact. As it stands, it doesn't have much use merely flowing in front of you, it'd be more useful if it could be sent outwards towards a foe from a distance, correct? I want you to open a portal and channel Keigoku through it and mold it into the shape of a small ball and cause it to travel forward, passing through that small tree there.

Of course, Akuma-sama.
Manipulating the Juubi's corrupt chakra as he did earlier, Mystogan began to focus once again upon the portals which he had seen as a child, and had even created mere moments ago. Manipulating the Keigoku as if it were his own chakra, Mystogan focused it into the air before him, generating a generic, base-level portal. Once the portal formed in the space before his face, Mystogan focused more Keigoku and chakra from the Mark of the Demon into the portal, so that it instead would draw the Keigoku from the Juubi. Then from the portal, Mystogan used his newly-awakened ability to manipulate the foul chakra of the Juubi in order to draw out a small stream of Keigoku, manipulating it as if it were his chakra into a small, compressed ball. Using chakra manipulation to manipulate the ball as he had done so many times before with regular chakra, Mystogan focused on a point on the ball opposite to the direction he wanted it to go. Then, Mystogan released a burst of energy (Keigoku) to send the ball flying in the direction of a small tree, which the ball of foul chakra simply passed through as if it were never there.
Now, I believe I heard that when Keigoku passes through things that are living, but are not sentient, for example a tree or other plants, they die because of the corrupt chakra... Is this right? Or does it simply have no effect on them?

Good, for a start. Now, i want you to open a portal while using the fireball jutsu, shooting it outwards while releasing the keigoku hidden within it.

Concentrating upon the power of the Juubi coursing through him, Mystogan looks into the space before him, replicating the feeling which was coming easier to him now, in order to open a portal before him, connected straight to the Juubi's chakra. Staring through the portal before him, Mystogan then began to weave six quick handseals, inhaling while pulling down his cloth mask before forming a ring with his index finger and thumb. Exhaling through the ring, Mystogan released his katon chakra through the ring, where the chakra spontaneously combusted into a great ball of fire in front of Mystogan's face, and ultimately through the portal. As the fireball traveled through the portal, the link to the mass storage of foul chakra known as Keigoku, Mystogan began to concentrate upon his connection to the Juubi's chakra, summoning a small ball of Keigoku about the same size as earlier to travel at the same speed as the fireball within the flames as a hidden strike within the distracting flames.

Nicely done as expected. Once you use it the first time, it stays active without you having to perform it a second time allowing you to release small pieces of keigoku hidden within every projectile style jutsu you use.

( Nekura Ichizoku Hijutsu: Zokugie ) - Nekura Clan Secret Technique: Unholy Conversion Type: Supplementary Rank: A Range: Self Chakra: 30 (+10 per turn) Damage: N/A Description: Once the Nekura casts this technique, it generates a small portal in front of him. From then onwards, whenever he shoots out a technique from him or from in front of him, a little Keigoku goes from the portal into the technique ( i.e., if he uses a fireball, a sphere of Keigoku, tennis-ball sized hides inside the fireball, and attacks the opponent as well when the fire hits him, or even if the fire is blocked, it needs to be blocked as well ). However, it does not work when techniques are being cast that come from other directions ( such as spikes from under the opponent, or wind from the sky ) as the portal is not near them. Since the amount of Keigoku used is small per technique, it only gives the opponent a headache and makes him lose concentration for a few seconds if it hits, however the effects stack- i.e, if the first time he loses conentration for two seconds, the next time his already weak mind loses focus for four, then six, and so on. No Forbidden-rank Nekura techniques may be used while this is active.
