In the distance i see you,
Lost in the light, there is no
Shadow in sight.

Your words drift in the wind,
Words that are warm, not
Shrouded in pain. A glimps
From your eyes leaves me
Hungry for lies.

The lies that tempt my
Heart, that leads it away from its path

A path that was dark, but
Now Hope lights the way.
But this hope is a fools
Only embrace.

For i see not the light but a
Dream that could be,
But that dream is not a
Dream; that is meant for me to see.

But now i hunger, for that
Sight of you standing in
That light, i hunger now
As if it were my right.

But the darkness holds on
To me tight, never will its
Grasp fade,for in its sight: it
Sees no light.

Only my dark pain, that
Is what gives it life. For
You are my dream, that
Was never my light.​
