This just further confirms feminist bullshit. Good job exposing yourselves.

The problem lies in the fact that how should one prove without reasonable doubt that a person complied .... One can not just pick sides without reasonable varification in a He Said She said scenario.

Also men have a right to be annoyed at this discussion .... because everyone can clearly see that this law does not apply to them apparently (Since no one is considering male rape victims). lol.

humans were originally one being together....

men and women have both equal rights, and will suffer the same fate in the end.

I'm a male feminist because women still are not treated equally. Just look at media; how many TV shows and movies actually pass the Bechdel test? Things are better for women now, but better does mean equal. Until women have the same opportunities, the US needs feminism as well.

Second part is completely untrue.

Women and men are not equal and will never be... We can see this to the physical and psychologic levels. What can possibly exist is equity in liberty, equality of opportunity, economic and social status level. We are yet to see that... why?

Many people forget that the emancipation of women was just in 1946 in the UN Commission on the Status of Women, where it was established to secure equal political rights, economic rights, and educational opportunities for women throughout the world. That was just 69 years ago which means that's within your grandparents generation, not to long ago... you see where I'm getting ? The society needs a lot of time to adapt to new rules like this one, it's like racism. Disparities like this will only disappear hopefully within the next 100 years.

On that note I think People want equality, but what they truly need is equity.

So under Yes means Yes law, if man complains that a woman had *** with him despite him never verbally and specifically saying yes and thus giving consent ... he would be considered a rape victim and action will be taken against the woman?

LoL, dont make me laugh ..... If a man makes such a complaint he would be made fun of and ignored. Much like how male victims of domestic violence are ignored (40% of total cases of Domestic violence).

Not to mention, for males the defination of rape is not even 'sexual activity without consent' ..... read this for some insight:

"According to the Center for Disease Control’s national survey on sexual violence, more than 5 million men in the United States have been “made to penetrate” someone else in their lifetime, whether by coercion, intimidation, or because they were incapacitated. In a largely overlooked study focusing exclusively on college males, 51.2 percent of participants reported experiencing a least one incident of sexual victimization, including unwanted sexual contact (21.7 percent), sexual coercion (12.4 percent) and rape (17.1 percent). Of course, most men assume they’ll be ostracized for reporting such emasculating violations, so the real numbers are likely at lot higher."

It is the same study that gives 1 in 5 Woman stats, but only that was highlighted while the nearly similar 1 in 6 men stat is totally ignored.

So dont pretend that people would take a male victim on equal grounds.

That's because *** for a man and woman are different, woman are much more susceptible to having *** forced on them since they are weaker and getting an erect penis in a vagina forcefully is more straight forward than getting a guy hard against his will then forcing his **** into your soft and harmless vagina.

Ummm you actually provided the logic/bias people would use to brush off the Male Victims of rape under the strict definitions of Yes means Yes Law .... Thanks for being an example of the type people who would laugh at a man being forced to have *** despite being unable/unwilling to give consent. (In which case if it was woman it would be a poor victim ..... Sigh, preach equality more)

"But muh real feminism"

Father’s rights group want shared parenting (equal custody) to be the default if both parents want custody and neither parent is unfit. They feel that men should not be punished for being men, and that women should not be awarded custody to their kids simply for being women. Currently women are awarded primary custody almost all the time, even if the husband was the stay-at-home Dad and the woman was the breadwinner.

Feminists fought against this. You can read NOW’s own statement . Also note their usage of anti-male lies, i.e. “fathers are abusive, don’t give them custody.” That is from 1997, but still remains valid today.

Men want protection against false rape allegations. They feel that a man’s life should not be ruined simply on the allegation of a woman who may be a vindictive liar. Currently, a woman can accuse a man of rape for no reason, and the man’s name is splashed in the paper and his life is ruined. So, they fought for laws granting men anonymity until charged with the crime of rape—not convicted, just charged.

, causing it to fail. Also see here, the London Feminist Network campaigning to defeat the proposal.

Men want equal treatment when victims of domestic violence, and to not be arrested for the crime of “being male” under primary aggressor policies.

Feminists by trying to suppress evidence showing that half of domestic violence is done by women, by threatening the researchers with bomb threats, death threats, etc.

Men don’t want to be thrown in jail because they lost their jobs and temporarily cannot pay child support.

Feminists fought against this, trying to lower the amount to $5000 before a man is guilty of a felony for not paying child support. If a man loses a decent-paying job, he will now be a felon, go to jail, lose his right to vote, AND be unable to find future jobs—if he cannot regain an equal-paying job within a few months.

Men want equal economic support and help from the government. When the recession hit, male-dominated fields like construction lost millions of jobs, while female-fields like education and healthcare gained jobs. So the government proposed an economic stimulus for those fields.

, arguing that it was discrimination to support men, and caused the government to give money to women who didn’t deserve it. Hundreds of professional feminists complained against the “sexism” of helping men (who had lost jobs) and not women (who had gained jobs).

Some may argue that these cases of feminists harming men is not “representative” of feminism. I ask you: Are there any cases of feminists helping men? No. Yet, there are many cases of feminists harming men.

These people aren't feminists their just plane out fascists ! Thank you for enlightening me with the information. This so called "feminist movement" is only a specific social group that wants privileges concentrated only on their social group, this is a characteristic seen in the right wing extremist, fascism.

This post embodies the double standards regarding female on male rape.

If the dude doesn't want to have *** or he's unconscious and a woman takes advantage then it's rape.

And vaginal penetration isn't the only type of sexual assault, sucking a guy's d*ck while he's unconscious or against his will counts too.

Thats more like molestation than rape, the only way I can see a woman demeaning and traumatizing a man through rape is with a strap on.

feminism is ok and all but what i would really support is a motion that stands for both men and women

i feel like more and more feminism is about women being over men nowadays....it`s becoming an idea of the same oppression against the other *** as it was in the past, only then it was against women and now it is against men

so in a way most feminists today are becoming what they swore to destroy

It's sexual assault period,since you're performing a *** act with someone who can't or won't consent.

Not to mention there are various drugs that can get a man hard but completely out of it,so don't even bother trying to argue no penetration=women can't rape men.

It's different but it's still "Sexual" therefore it is still rape.
I believe "feminists" use a term for what you're doing right now ..
"Rape apologist"
