American feminism is about superiority, not equality

As the title say and I'll prove it.

Lets start with the gender pay gap myth

video=youtube;G_sGn6PdmIo]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_sGn6PdmIo

video=youtube;vDb7jJO_yyo]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDb7jJO_yyo

women don't seek to make as much as men, because they already do. Women seek to make more.

Even if women did get paid less than men, Jim Jefferies justifies it here

So now that we've covered that lets move on to my second point

Then there is the oppressive yes means yes law just passed in California

if that doesn't scream superiority then you just won't get it.

then there is the need to hit but not be hit back

=youtube;9IkEmDEoSeQ]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IkEmDEoSeQ

Yesterday I saw the argument that feminists were seeking equality between men and women. Justify that statement using American Feminism. What can't American women not do that men can?

If they truly seek equality, then explain to me how we measure equality?

If they truly wanted equality then they would be called humanists or egalitarians(which is also dumb)

=youtube;26QxO49Ycx0]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26QxO49Ycx0

But by all means justify American feminism

[To watch the videos, obviously just copy and paste]

Please guys lets not feed the troll. The OP is a racist bigot southerner and i have already reported him.

You provided proof that some people who call themselves feminists are like that. There is no proof that everyone who identifies as a feminist is like that because we all aren't.

Maybe there's a universe out there that this is correct in. Not this one yet. Once again, fraction of population.

Yeah, none of this says men have the responsibility. Once again, no gender is specified and applies to both where both genders can be rapists and victims.

If the woman accuses him of rape and it is found that he got her drunk to get consent, then yes. But the same applies for the woman if he accuses her of rape and the same is found of her.

It's called feminism because it originated as a movement for the advancement of women to equal rights as men. Once that was established, the movement shifted to maintain that advancement and keeping men and women equal. In places where women don't have equal rights to men, such as places in the Middle East, it is still about advancement to equal rights.

Egaltarians are just feminists who threw a hissy fit about the name of the movement. You're part of the same group, the only difference is that one part thinks they're something different when they aren't. What the movement is about defines what the movement is about, not the name. I could make a movement called Riker's Big Gay Shitty Religion, and if I say it's about treating men and women equally and about equal rights between genders, then it's the same thing as feminism and egaltarianism but with a stupid name.
You say "fraction of the population" without providing any proof but your word.

How can you be so blind as to not see that that law disproportionately affects men? How can men "get her drunk". Unless pouring alcohol forcibly down her throat, how is she not responsible for her own drunkenness and subsequent decisions? How can't you see the societal pressures on men to not report if raped by a woman? What are you as a feminist doing to help this social stigma on men? I'll tell you what... not shit.

And your opinion of the definitions of words is meaningless so why bother. you have been proven wrong in this case.

You wanna play this game without proof of your own that it's the entire population.

Someone can get another person drunk by:
1. Giving them more alcohol than they think they are drinking
2. Pressuring/convincing them to drink when they initially expressed that they don't want to
3. Lying about what they are drinking, saying it's not as strong as it really is.

A man can do this a woman, a woman can do this a woman, a man can do this to a man, a woman can do this to a man. If you give someone alcohol or any other drugs with the hopes of it making them give consent, then it means they would have not have done so sober. Otherwise, you wouldn't have had to give them the drug in the first place to ensure consent. That means rape.

If you want to continue saying that the law is stacked against men, then please, point out where in the law or the bill that it states something that applies to the men, and not to the women, as the rapist? Or where does it say something about the women as victims but not men? What specific part of the bill/law specifically says or implies that the responsibility is on men or that the standards of being raped applies to just women.

And your opinion of the definitions of words is meaningless so why bother. you have been proven wrong in this case.

Hypocrisy. The definition of a feminist is someone who believes men and women have equal rights, but you still claim feminists want superiority.

Hypocrisy. The definition of a feminist is someone who believes men and women have equal rights, but you still claim feminists want superiority.

I've proven in the first post that feminist seek superiority. as I've given proof of people on tv with a wider sway of power than "you and those you know", then the burden of proof falls to you to prove most feminists aren't seeking superiority.

as for getting someone drunk every person is responsible for what they put in their own body. If you are questionable as to what you are drinking then don't drink it(peer pressure is BS, if you are suggesting that women aren't responsible for the decisions they make after succumbing to peer pressure, then you aren't really searching for equality, but to make excuses for women's decisions) . The only valid instance of this I see is slipping someone a date rape drug. It is the job of the person to intelligently put substances in their own body. As the law says "ignorance is no excuse"

the argument that "you wouldn't have had to give them the drug in the first place to ensure consent" is bullshit. The law doesn't specify like you do. It just says that if someone gets drunk, they can't give consent. If they get drunk at separate parties and meet and have ***, 99% of the time its the man who is going to be accused of rape even though "feminists" like you say the law is going to keep men from getting raped as well(we both know that's bullshit).

as for me being a hypocrite this is where we differ. I don't re-define words. anyone that advocates the special treatment(whether it be race, ***, orientation) to achieve equality that can't be measured is just pushing for the advancement of their selected people in the name of wanting equality. You can call it what you want, but until we can measure equality its just bias.

The only truly un-biased are those who push for equality in the name of no group(which is still misguided but at least their heart is in the right place)

You just think you have. You have shown some people who call themselves feminists do, not that 100% do.

No, you are responsible. However, that doesn't mean it's okay for someone take advantage of you while you are under the influence of a drug, and it's straight illegal if they gave you that drug in hopes of taking advantage of you. That is the point you are missing. If you drink a drink knowing it will get you drunk, that's on you, but that doesn't mean you can give consent while in that state.

No, I am not making excuses for women's decisions. Once again, what I am saying doesn't just apply for women, but men too. Both men and women can give someone a drink, and lie about how strong it is so who they give it to can get drunk, and they can then take advantage of them. Both men and women can pressure someone into drinking when they don't want to. Both men and women can slip a roofie into someone's drink. And both men and women can be victims of this.

the argument that "you wouldn't have had to give them the drug in the first place to ensure consent" is bullshit. The law doesn't specify like you do. It just says that if someone gets drunk, they can't give consent. I said that in reference to the scenario that someone gave someone else a drug in hopes that once they were intoxicated, they would give consent. In that scenario, the person who gave the drug figured that the person they wanted to have *** with wouldn't give consent when sober, so they got them intoxicated. They basically knew the person wouldn't offer or accept giving them their body while in their right mind, so they just take it anyways. That's rape.

In the scenario that you present, yes, a woman could accuse the man of rape. However, it's not a one-way street. He can also accuse her of rape and the charges would be filed the same as if she accused him. The courts and police don't just barge in accusing the man of rape and automatically take him to court, the woman has to press the charge of rape. And the man also has the option of pressing the charge. I do agree that if two drunk people meet, and they were drunk prior to that, and had ***, then either none were really raped or really, both were raped because they were both in a state where they couldn't give consent.

Yes, you are re-defining words. A feminist means someone who is an advocate for equal rights between men and women. By saying that feminists want superiority and special treatment, you are attempting to redefine that word.

Equality can never be measured, you can't measure a concept. But equality can be reached by not making laws or rules that unjustly favor a specific gender. Equality is women being able to work the same jobs as men. Equality is women being able to earn the same pay. Equality is women being able to have the same medical care, the same protection from police, the same voting rights, the same rights to own a house, the right to not have a man control their living like is done in the Middle East. If we have it, then the fight is no longer about achieving it, but maintaining it.

The only truly un-biased are those who push for equality in the name of no group(which is still misguided but at least their heart is in the right place)
Not really. Name or no name, doesn't matter. We just happen to live in a world where there is a name.

you just repeated yourself whilst being wrong. How can't we measure equality but we can have equality? The largest flaw in your last post(which has many). I'm sick of this argument. I didn't re-define feminist. I used the actual definition against you, while you ignored the meaning of the word egalitarian.

As far as i'm concerned you didn't sufficiently counter my last post. You disagreeing that women(and men) aren't responsible for succumbing to peer pressure and aren't responsible for being knowledgeable about what they put in their body is your opinion. you also ignored the social stigma facing men and reporting rape charges. And In my opinion you are totally wrong about all of it.

Sadly the radicals have tarnished the cause and turned it into a twisted mockery of what it stood for.

Modern feminism is a perversion of what woman fought for decades ago,now it's all about b*tcing about men, about how other women are prettier than they are,and wanting to be treated like special snowflakes without giving anything in return.

I believe in gender equality, but I refuse to be part of the current feminism movement. It's unbelievably toxic and most Western women want nothing to do with it.

I listed multiple ways to have equality while being unable to measure it. Can you explain how you can measure a concept? It's either there, or it's not. That's it.

The largest flaw in your last post(which has many).
And funny how you've failed to point them out. "The flaws are there, I can't address them or specify them tho." Qua-lih-tee debating.

I'm sick of this argument. I didn't re-define feminist. I used the actual definition against you, while you ignored the meaning of the word egalitarian.

fem·i·nism
ˈfeməˌnizəm/Submit
noun
the advocacy of women's rights on the grounds of political, social, and economic equality to men.

feminism
noun fem·i·nism \ˈfe-mə-ˌni-zəm\
: the belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities

: organized activity in support of women's rights and interests

feminism
[fem-uh-niz-uh m]
IPA Syllables
Examples Word Origin
noun
1.
the doctrine advocating social, political, and all other rights of women equal to those of men.

Three different definitions from three different sources. I see nothing about superior or special treatment, and everything about equality to men.

As far as i'm concerned you didn't sufficiently counter my last post.
Oh, I like this game! As far as I'm concerned, you haven't sufficiently countered any of my posts.

You disagreeing that women(and men) aren't responsible for succumbing to peer pressure and aren't responsible for being knowledgeable about what they put in their body is your opinion. you also ignored the social stigma facing men and reporting rape charges.

No, I never disagreed that you are responsible for what you put in your body, or if you succumb to peer pressure. You are. If someone peer pressures you into taking cocaine or LSD, and you are caught, you face the consequences. But, if someone pressures you into coming to their house or going to a secluded area, or intoxicate you with a drug, and they proceed to murder you, are they still not to be held responsible and accountable for the crime? Rape is no different. The victim's responsibility doesn't erase the perpetrator's guilt or accountability.

There is a social stigma surrounding women and reporting rape charges that they are lying. There are many accounts of women who reported rape to the police and weren't taken seriously. There are many accounts of students who were raped and reported it to the head of their schools and weren't taken seriously. Stigmas don't cancel stigmas, and don't take away from the seriousness and heaviness of the situation.

And In my opinion you are totally wrong about all of it.
I could have sworn we just played this game.

No, it's not. If intoxication/being drunk means consent can't be given, then two people who were drunk when they "consented" did indeed rape each other. It's paradoxical, and might even outright not make sense, but that has nothing to do with feminism, so it's irrelevant to this thread.

I'd have given you at least two more replies before you were reduced to two-line replies-then-cop-out though.

interesting how some of you have opinions about countries you dont know much about, the west only reports the bad things abou these countries,i'm not saying there isn't any i'm just saying it's just as bad as it is in the west, remember the hacking of some production company in hollyhood and women being paid less than men,in general women are being paid less than men for doing the same job, look it up,i'm just saying if you going to say dumb $hit like "america doesn't need feminism, eastern and african countries do" you should look at whats happening where you are,

Once again the wage gap is a myth.

Women go into professions they like and if her employer pays her less for the same amount of work as her male coworkers then she can sue for discrimination.

Your post reeks of first world problems, wake me up when American women are raped on a daily basis like those in Africa.

The problem with this is you're making struggle and inequality a competition. How about instead of telling people their misfortune, suffering, or otherwise negative traits of their life aren't shit because other people have it worse, you fight so no one has it bad. Instead of telling western feminists to shut up because they don't have as bad, you fight to make sure that has it worse get better and so that have it good don't get worse.

Why?In comparison to the trivial issues that western feminists complain about there are actual serious issues affecting women in less privileged countries.

Western feminists complain about the inflated issues regarding rape in the U.S?There's a actual rape culture in places like Africa where 9 times out of 10 women are going to be raped...sometimes repeatedly.

They complain about the "patriarchy"?Middle eastern women can't do anything unless a man gives her permission.

This is like a rich person complaining that they don't have enough money to someone who busts his/her ass working 30-40 hour days.

Having some perspective isn't telling people to shut up.

Stop making issues a competition.

I've explained so much in this thread already the importance feminism has in the western world. Feminism isn't to get things from horrible to good, it's keep things from going from good to horrible.

It's not a competition,it's called having some damn perspective.
