Am I the only one who enjoyed the latest chapter?

I have seen a lot of people complaining about the latest chapter today. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, that's fine and I won't say something like "go make a better manga if you think you can" because that is one piss bad argument, since writing and criticizing require two different skill sets.

But what is so boring about getting to know the childhood and path to power of two most powerful ninjas of the era, the legendary duo which is quite responsible for everything that has happened in the story and which was always kept as a mystery for us readers up until now? I mean, ever since I first saw those bigass statues in the Valley of the End, I wanted to know the full background behind those two individuals. Hashirama's reputation as a fairy tale shinobi god and power that Madara showed during the current war only made those two even more interesting. The latest two chapters reveal that the relation between the two was most intriguing and quite dynamic. I am honestly looking forward to seeing more of this flashback, especially how they switched from being close friends to being mortal enemies (well Madara switched, Hashirama was cool lol).

Anyway, if you think the chapter sucks, that's your opinion and I respect it, but I personally wouldn't mind several more chapters about Hashirama's and Madara's history.

I think it was necesary. I completely agree fans would have complained later on without this flashback. althought it is a flashback within a flashback it was necessary and needed.

i want to see how hashi got so powerful and learned how to control the bijuus and it might even show some of the uzumaki clan as well

I loved it, and yes, people will moan about it due to lack of battles or knowledge about whatever character they are curious about, but this chapter played a very vital part in the plot.

It showed us why Tobirama is against the Uchiha, why Madara wants a peaceful world and how emotional Hashirama is compared to his father, and why he's so soft toward the Uchiha.

It also showed us that Tobirama and Hashirama both wanted an alliance, but Tobirama wanted one with rules, which explains why he ruled Konoha the way he did when he became the 2nd Hokage.

I loved the chapter man. We are finally seeing what started it all. Kid Madara looks pretty BA, and his attitude is great.

i mean seriously for the last what 50 chapters its been nothing but pure fighting. we needed a break. the tailed beasts vs naruto. naruto and killer b vs tobi. naruto, killer b, gai, kaashi vs tobi, itachi and sasuke vs kabuto. then tobi madara against naruto team. then tobi, madara, ten tails vs nine tails, eight tales, killer b, naruto, kakashi, and gai. then the shinobi alliance vs the ten tailes. i really think we needed a break.

I loved the chapter, probably because I enjoy flashbacks

Not only that but the content was rich and I´m interested in knowing more about Madara now, something that I didnt think was possible before this chap..

Also, not everyone will be happy about it, its how things work..Everyone´s entitled to their opinion after all but truth is, people were asking for a break in the war and we got that

This chapter was great imo because I would rather find out what happens with
hashi and madara than to keep asking what happened with them.

Kishi is doing an excellent job on covering all the grounds that
need to be covered.

I say read the chapter before reading people's comments
because as we all know there are a lot of trolls out there
and I can see that you liked the chapter for what it offered and not
what it didn't have.

We all know that it will eventually get back to the war
so everybody please be patient, there is a reason why kishi is
doing the flashback. Just like with kakashi and obito when
they were young. XD

Ignore the complaints as like someome said earlier, if we didnt have it they would complain about that.

Naruto is so successful because it is a very very very emyertaining story

A brilliant chapter. One of the better flashbacks along with Kabuto, Sasuke and Nagato.
