It takes 3 chapters to activate and more to prepare it... it isnt really an option in a 1v1 because if Itachi can hold an enemy off for that long he doesn't need Izanami

I have a lot of respect for Kabuto as well he did own Itachi a lot regardless

Yeah Kabuto got owned thats fair enough but Kabuto killed Itachi about 5 times before that.The guy just wanted to find himself he didn't want no trouble xd

the thing is, Itachi is sooooooo OP not even DBZ's universe can hold him, Itachi would use a normal genjutsu on goku making him solo the entire dbz universe, and then he'd finish him off with a Tsukiyomi, KA if goku has a strong enough mentality which may not break, but KA makes him a slave 4 life regardless

Edo Itachi is officially the strongest entity in Naruto...or was, but I see no scenarios where he can't defend himself

This guy knows it... Itachi is pure genius and is all brains... add that with some heavenly weapons and one of the most powerful eyes in the manga and you got your self a character who can squeeze in a few scenerios to defeat anyone. If all goes wrong... sword of totsuka to the chest :]

Izanami is like a basic genjutsu just a little stronger and is a loop i think a jinchuriki can break out of it.

first off he isnt even a human his a edo all those attacks that kabuto made would have owned itachi.

amatarsu would be useless as seeing kabuto can liquify and shed to another body
he can dodge sussano
counter his genjutsu

itachi only won due too kishi being a uciha **** rider,

but im not a hater i put itachi in top 5

but lets be honest kabuto would have wrecked itachi if it wasnt for izanami.
