Whelp it looks like Ch 700 won't be animated since the next episode involve too much on Team Sarada vs Team Boruto for capture the flag and the episode after that will be when Mitsuki show up.

At this point there is only two logical theories to all this.
1) The eye is a result of Hamura/Hagoromo bloodlines mixing.
2) The eye is purely from Hinata's side and is a result of her Byakugan DNA and Ootsutsuki Chakra.
I would like to think its the second option for several reasons.
There's been emphasis that Bolt didn't get anything in terms of powers or abilities form Naruto,
The Ootsutuski will likely be the main villains, so Bolt's Ootsutsuki side will be more relevant.
The eye itself looks like a Tenseigan more and more.
The high possibility that Toneri may reappear, so Tenseigan will be relevant again.

So apparently Boruto is gonna summon something in the next episode but I betcha it's probably gonna be some kind of Fuuinjutsu. If Boruto is ever gonna get summoning pet he would probably end up getting Nue like creature we've seen in episode 3. Would've been cool asf.

Yes it would likely be some form of diluted Byakugan.. i still am pondering if I should see it as diluted or reawakened.

It took 3 jounin to stop Neji in Neji vs Hinata pt 1, he was the first to become jounin in K12 T_T why did he die? We aren't even sure if the Hyuga system changed.

Just now the Byakugan is having its special powers through Boruto to where Hinata never given a special development of her own Byakugan despite being called Byakugan Princess in the Last. Neji potential being thrown out only to showcase through Boruto is what rubbed me the wrong way.
If they realized that how much focused Sasuke had in the original and bit of Naruto and the others then I hope they should be doing something part 1 where they fleshed out all the characters.
This is what I don't like about Kishimoto ditching the rookies 12 where instead he uses the opportunity for next generations side characters being all the focused something that Kishimoto hadn't focuses on each individual characters like Neji or Rock Lee that never had a drama moment since part 1.

Sad part is most of them didn’t even get any real fight scenes in all of P2 (Talking about Team 8 and Gai), so asspulling some Kage-level powers akin to what was done with Sakura and the Yin Seal for them during the Juubito fight wouldn’t even have been out of place.
Kishimoto is literally giving other ninjas Naruto's moves because obviously without him they couldn't handle themselves. Remember when this manga was full of diverse characters with unique jutsu and fighting styles? Remember when characters didn't have to be the strongest to win? When ninjas had to use tactics, stealth and wit?
Neji obviously when we get flashbacks of him, but the question is how long these flashbacks really will be. Ideally, it should at least be 2 or 3 chapters, since this is monthly. There is the haunting issue that flashbacks we get of him could easily revolve around no fights at all, so that could be an issue.
With Hinata, there is ample potential for her to be relevant and get feats, it's whether or not the writer's choose to go down that route.
In Road to B, Mitsuki calls her the Byakugan Princess, meaning Kishimoto hasn't just kept that title exclusive to The Last.
Mitsuki himself bares several similarities to Toneri and could potentially be his clone, and that may lead to Hinata getting involved.
If Bolt's eye is Tenseigan or something similar, it would mean Hinata's Rikudo Chakra will be brought into play.
Even w/o any of that, she could still get feats by training Bolt when he get's his dojutsu.
Honestly, it truly is amazing how tone deaf Kishi is. People fell in love with this series and its characters with the Chunnin Exams, yet the K11/Sand Sibs are treated like trash outside of Shikamaru, Gaara, and Choji. The poor things get no fight scenes in all of P2 only to show up and don Naruto’s Bijuu Cloak, grab his rasengan, and ride his tails in order to fight Obito. Because how can they be useful without Naruto’s help?

The evidences keep piling up. I would love to see dynamic feud with the Main and Branch family between Boruto and Mitsuki. Mitsuki always seem loyal to Boruto so it would make more sense if he's from the Branch family.

I know, I've seen that, but I want to know what it says in terms of Hinata's mastery of Gentle Fist and whether its "Hyuga Princess" or "Byakugan Princess".
