I don't think much of Neji's pairing with anyone but, I do wonder if he were alive, would he have helped Borouto or Himawari train, and how he would have felt about Hinata being scary/angry.

I haven't watched these episodes either.

This is tsunade infinite tsukoymi dream episodes, and it follows different alternate storyline of Naruto in a "what if" scenario. For some reason, SP decided to make Tobi as Edo Hizashi and it's sad that even a filler gives some bonding moment between Neji and his father which kishi could not. I bet SP did this to compensate all this misses opportunities for Neji in the war arc.

Well I only watched the episode where Hinata or Neji made appearance, so I am not sure what exactly happened but, sp did a great Job. I would have liked to see Neji and his father interact without the "what if" scenario episode, and meet in normal filler At least I would have been more satisfied, thinking that this happened during the time skip. Again I really liked the fillers. If you read manga alone you'd probably not like it.
The manga was all about bonds but none of the 'bonds' actually made sense or had real development inside the manga.

So many characters were trolled, Neji being on the top of list.

Kishi have forgotten so much stuff, he even forgot Hinata's mom. :lol

Kishi already established what happened in the war arc so literally there's no way for Neji to interact with his father since both of them are opposite side of the spectrum. The only way to happen is if Ghost Hizashi meet his son something Kishi usually love to do when someone was about to pass on to the afterlife.

Anyway atleast we got something than nothing even though SP made a complete fanfic like most fans would do.

I don't want this. It's bad enough that Hiashi got more feats in 614 than Neji did even though HE was the one that going to die (honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if Kishi meant for Hiashi to die but changed his mind at the last second, and that's why Hiashi got more feats than Neji), so him training Bolt instead of Hinata? I'd be extra salty at that. Hinata needs to be the one to train her own kids, but Bolt/Himawari interacting with Hiashi is fine.

Neji didn't even get an after death moment. Or even fillers like every character that died.

I wish they had met somehow, at least we got something Yeah but it's never enough.

I never meant Hiashi training him, I would like it if Hiashi and bolt are talking and Hiashi says something that makes Bolt angry and eventually leads to bolt charging at Hiashi, I want him to be surprised at how amazingly Hinata trained his Boruto It'd really be cool.

:lol Wouldn't surprise me even one bit if Hiashi is still kept as the Hyuga Leader just to avoid having to deal with the whole sub-plot between Hanabi and Hinata and also the Caste System.
