This was an old news but did you guys know in the original sketch, Boruto originally had the 'lock one' motion that Himawari uses in the Boruto: Naruto the Movie, booklet special.

- Kishi's assistant suggested this idea of basing a character off traditional folklore.
- Momoshiki and Kinshiki are based off Momotaro and Kintaro (I guess, actually, duh)
- They wanted to add Urashimataro too but that idea is scrapped.
- The villains are made based on the father son concept (To be the foil of Boruto Naruto)
- Kishi wanted to expand on Momoshiki and Kinshiki's background, but the movie has limited airing time so that idea is scrapped too.
- He also scrapped Shikamaru and Shikadai's dialogue etc.
- In their world, they get stronger by inheriting Chakra through generations. Their design are based of 牛若丸 and some other character blabla. (I have zero klue with the characters)

Momoshiki will likely get his back story expanded on if Kishi has his way, especially since Momoshiki is clearly going to be more important in the manga than in the movie and that Kishi is the editor. It sucks that Kinshiki was offed though, but there is the possibility that Momoshiki will return somehow. I wonder what role the third one would have played had they shown up?

Well of course Momoshiki is more important now after the way he implanted the Curse seal on Boruto so clearly it's not over yet but I do believe we will get some small portion amount of backstory during the Movie plot. The Third Ootsutski is also the minion of Momoshiki so it makes me wonder how is everyone gonna handle 3 powerhouse assuming it's gonna happen in the Anime.

This is probably one of the funniest episode I've watched in long while and what's more is that they are building up the byakugan/hyuga clan hopefully. They left us another good note for more Himawari and Hinata and yeah that picture with Neji was also shown in the movie. I just wish that if Bolt learn some jyuuken, he could've easily stopped metal lee from rampaging.

On a contrary, I'm mad that Naruto came home and interrupted a valuable conversation between Boruto and Hinata when we could have learned alot more about his dojutsu. Who knows how long we have to wait until they simply brought up again although I understand that they want build things up .

I want the series to mostly focus on ootsutsuki and Hyuga.
I felt the same. Why did he have to appear that time? Ugh, but we'll know it sooner or later that's for sure. And I am glad Hinata and Himawari are in every episode even if a little bit. Hopefully we'll have Neji fillers.

Bolt's eye is looking more and more like it could relate to the Tenseigan. And if the Tenseigan is brought up, I highly doubt they will leave Toneri out of the loop, so he may get introduced into the story like Kishimoto originally wanted. This may also make it more likely that Mitsuki is Toneri's clone but lacks Byakugan eyes since Toneri has none so Mitsuki was born w/o eyes and Orochimaru had to transplant normal eyes into him for the time being.
Part 2 = Senju/Uchiha
Part 3 = Hyuga/Ootsutsuki

After all, Toneri is canon to Kishi eyes since he originally wanted to put him into boruto movie which it's pretty inevitable. I think Boruto dojutsu started to look more like Tenseigan probably because he inherited some Hamura chakra from Hinata in her possession assuming they gonna stick with the Last Movie continuity.
Give or take Kishi was involved in over seeing the academy arc.
