but on the when deadara referrs to sasori he refers to him as a superior and think it would come down to dedeara self desructing because im sure he would get poisoned

Itachi was #1 if you didnt include the (Pein's) and tobi..... but i do almost know Kisame was #2 or #4 depending on how you look at it, just because he was referred to as "The Tailless beast".

there are six of pain, and one of itachi. itachi's tskyuomi (sorry for spelling) would'nt work on the pains, and amaterasu would be less effective.

remeber itachi's susanoo combined with his Spirit sword and Shield, made him virtually invincible he woulda just sealed the pein puppets with his sword 1 by 1 and found nagato. That is why Tobi/Madara was scared of him cause he coulda sealed him even through his phasing just because the susanoo sword was a "spirit sword"

naruto was in sage mode, as shikaku said, hez in a whole dif class. not dissing itachi, cos hez one of my favorites but rinnegan's stronger then sharingan. i know itachi was sick but so was nagato.

and hidan got raped by shikamaru by himself. and kisame has killed a lot as shown in manga, wiped out his whole team and the previous samahada wielder, and being the strongest generation of the seven swordsmans, kisame killed one of them.
