You can't just assume he is epic because of were he stands he could just be his right hand man because he is the most reliable, so until I see him in battle i'm not judging him as being one of the top akatsuki members.xd
i dont know why most of you have konan as weakest when she is pretty strong! this is the real list!

reason why diedara is fo far up is because of his jutsu if you are not a uchiha or lighting element ninja u will die cause for one u wont see the chakra in the microscopic bombs and u cant diffuse them!!
and orochimaru is a weakling basically almost everyone in akatsuki was stronger than him!!

idk..Orochimaru was deadlier than most ppl in the Akastuki..well IMO.
i actually think he could've killed deidara in a 1v1, sealed Hidan no prob, and could've beat Sasori

Madara and itachi came to an agreement that if he massacre the uchia's he (madara) would leave kohana alone, that's the only reason madara didn't attack kohana until he (itachi) died, not because madara and nagato was a afraid of him, fyi remember nagato was also not healthy, and was still able to lvll pawn all of kohana, Thus nagato was superior to itachi in strength.

yeah thats what i thought he knew alot about every ninja he came across and also zetsu gathers all the dead bodies what for though he eats them and takes theyre jutsu ? maybe idk also zetsu is using yamato for the 1t DNA the dude has got some random epic skill

how is sasori gonna stop diedara? when u all see wat diedara can do with his bombs that go into bloodstream?
i dont particulary like diedara but the fact is only person that can kill him is an uchiha or lighting element ninja!
plus even if sasori might have a chance a killing diedara he will die also cause last i checked u need space time ninjutsu to escape diedara 10 km blast and that was not even his most powerful technique!!
