[Predictions] AcexSabo Flash back?

Do you think we might get to see how Ace and Sabo met each other?

I suppose Ace was a jerk to Sabo as well and then later something happens and they became partners

I imagine at one point Sabo might just go back in his mind about how they met but I doubt it will be a full blown flashback,maybe a chapter at most

I feel like Sabo just left his home or something and went into the woods. He was a noble so he didn't know how to survive in the wild etc. Then Ace found him and saved his life and then told him to leave or something but Sabo didn't want to. As always, Ace was probably a d*ck to him but eventually they bonded.

Kid Ace was an ass to everyone so i don't think Sabo was an exception. I do think we'll find out either this arc or once Sabo is about to die. We all know its gonna happen Lol

when I read the title of this thread I thought it was something else....

I had a theory on another site that Ace and Sabo had run into each other sometime after they left goa kingdom....

It makes sense since both Ace and Sabo were pretty huge names in the GL and the NW. Ace was second division commander to WB, Sabo being second to Dragon.... its highly possible that the WB pirates and the rev army ran into each other at some point... or at the very least, they may have heard about each other. Sabo's name seems to be known by many at Corrida, so if he had so much infamy during the time ace was alive, its likely ace heard his name......

I know that's a crackpot theory, but I think it would be awesome to see....

Dumbass, I was talking about as adults.... after sabo's accident with the CD, and after Ace left to be a pirate....

I swear you didn't read the op's question Sabo. The op is asking will there be a flashback of when they met. I'm going to assume when they first met. Also I think there is a high chance that they met but why wouldn't Ace tell Luffy that Sabo was alive?

I did read it Phase... I started my response by stating that "when I read the title of this thread I thought it was something else...."

I then went on to explain the theory I thought it was based on the title of the thread.... perhaps not 100% relevant to the topic, but it would be a flash back that involves both ace and sabo..... seemed relevant to me based on the title of the thread.

Seriously, whats wrong with all you people? Pouncing on my one post, that was not spam or off topic, and giving me shit for a harmless comment meant to stimulate conversation. No wonder everyone thinks NB is shit

edit - in response to your edit phase, ace may not have told luffy about sabo at the time of his death because sabo wanted to meet luffy on his own. He would have wanted to explain it to luffy on his own. Ace may have not told anything to luffy out of respect for what sabo wanted. Granted, this is all supposition, but it makes sense of some things, like how sabo was able to perfectly recreate Hiken the first time he used it, moments after consuming the mera mera(if not use it better than ace ever did)

Why did I mention it? Because I felt it was germane to the topic at hand. Had ace and sabo remet on the GL, it would need to be shown as a flashback... how does that not fall under the realm of a AcexSabo flash back? (which I feel the need to remind you is the GD title of the thread, in case you weren't aware)

Again, Ace showed no knowledge of Sabo being alive. In his deathbed he would've said something but thats not even the point U_U

He's clearly referring to how they first met when they were kids. You didn't tell OP what he wanted to know. If you don't plan on reading the original post then you shouldn't bother posting at all.

Fine, to specifically answer the OP, no I do not think there will be a flashback regarding how ace and sabo met. There could however be a flashback of the two of them meeting again as adults in the NW. This may seem unlikely to many, but it is the only kind of flashback regarding those two characters that I foresee happening in the future. A flashback showing how they met as children would be superfluous and it is unneeded. It would serve little purpose and would not reveal anything of significance in terms of the overall plot of the story.

Now, back to what I was saying and why I said it: it was relevant to the title of the thread. It would actually hold some import with regard to the plot of OP and give some depth to adult sabo. The OPers question was asinine (no offense intended, but it would be an inane and utterly fatuous flashback to see how they met), and it would serve no purpose to the story as a whole. A flashback like the one I am talking about (which i feel the need to once again point out is relevant to the title of the thread) would actually matter. It would perhaps add some depth to sabo's character, and perhaps it would even explain sabo's absence at Ace's execution.

Obviously I meant when they were older... I think they met in the New World or the Grand Line.. my prediction is Ace knew Sabo lived. (but not until they met again) and his reaction would've been the same as Luffy's.

That's exactly what I was trying to say. it is highly probable that Ace and Sabo, both being high ranking members of well known organizations with lots of influence in the NW and the GL, had run across each other or had at least heard of each other due to both of their high levels of notoriety.


Don't know if I agree with the whole "They fought over the mera mera no mi" bit, but other than that I think we are on the same page.

But you said they fought for the Mera Mera. Ace had the Mera Mera before he went to the NW.

Also, again. OP didn't ask about how they met in NW. He asked about how they first met.
