[Question] Ace still stronger than Luffy?

Yes he is. Ace was a newbie commander when Vista(like Jozu and Marco) are veteran commanders who were under Whitebeard since Roger's era. Base Teach was implied to be stronger than Ace when he was asked to be commander in his place. WB pirates themselves tried to prevent Ace to chase him(as well as Shanks risking to take on Marines to talk about WB for the matter) because they knew he had no chance, same Teach who had to sneak attack Thatch to steal his fruit.

Vista fought top tiers for a considerable amount of time without sustaining injuries when Ace got manhandled by a high tier and one-shot by a top tier. I don't know about Thatch(considering it was a sneak attack) but Ace was clearly weaker than Vista

To be fair, Luffy, a noobie pirate, beat Rob Lucci, and experienced and renowned assassin who took down tons of criminals for longer than Luffy was alive. Its possible that Ace could have followed in a path similar to Luffy and gained strength fast enough to bypass the others' experience.

To the one-shot by a top tier, are you forgetting that Ace had no time to recover from his fight with BB? He was immediately thrown into Impel Down, bound by chains that were sapping at his strength, baptized in boiling hot water or fire or whatever it is that they used, and starved in that prison? You cannot be serious if you think Ace was 100% at Marineford. Not only that, but even at reduced strength, he matched Aokiji's attack and managed to get away from him. He was in the same situation as Enel, he got his worst possible match-up by fighting a user of a superior Devil Fruit.

We also didn't see Teach's state after the battle. For all we know, Ace's final attacks damaged Teach and left him badly injured, but he was able to rest and recover while Ace wasn't.

Thats not the only Ace attack tho...he has crazy fast and explosive attacks offensively...if Luffy blizes him...he could easily spam weaken to deal with Luffy's speed

Actually no the lower u r in impel down the less they do to u idk why they do this but they feel like if you got caught and u were high leveled then the time will hurt u more then any amount of torture lol

The level Ace was on was a secret level reserved for the world's worst criminals, you think they got treated good? And Ace got the baptizing and he still wasn't 100%, evident by the fact that he was covered in bruises and blood while still in his cell. He also had no energy, as he could barely talk and was groaning in pain.

Vista is debatable. He has Mihawk level Haki and was clashing with him for a minute. And Mihawk knew his name which really makes him significant

Exactly, so he had time to recover from his beating, evident by having no wounds. Croco was 100% at Marineford, Ace was not. It's clear that Ace was treated much worse in Impel Down because he took the baptizing, meaning if all that shit on him was dirt and just blood, it would have been washed off, but he had marks and bruises all over him till his death.

I would assume Luffy is on Vista's level. He very well could be slightly above Ace as of now, but Portrayal tells me Ace might still be slightly superior. Either way Ace and Luffy are on the same level, hence they are comparable.
