But they weren't the Uzumaki clan, Nara clan, Hyuga clan, Yamanaka clan, Hozuki clan etc. No. They were just normal folk who had families. You can't say that there was an Uzumaki clan before the Sage. It is their jutsus that make them stand out before other clans and there were no jutsus before the Sage so there was no Uzumaki clan which means the Uzumaki clan descende from the Senju

I feel like i remember it being stated on more than just one occasion in the manga that they are distant relatives. Correct me if I'm wrong though. It is not stated that clans have to have jutsus to be a clan. A clan is a group of people united by actual or perceived kinship and descent. Therefore it is entirely possible to have a clan before the Sot6P. Also there being one clan before the sage does not mean that every clan existed before the sage.

The sage later married a regular woman from a Nameless clan.he sired 2 sons with the woman!
Except the hyuuga's who has a shady past with the uchiha's,No clans came from both!
