this seems a recurrent theme from pro-abortion persons... equating a fetus to cancer or skin cells.

it's been a while since i saw a tumor develop into a baby... the only time I saw that was in hellboy 2 actually.

once the fertilised egg has reached the uterus, ie pregnancy begins, that cell cluster is going to become a human. life is not a matter of semantics ffs. what about months-old fetuses that are torn apart? ever heard of the dance of death? what does it matter wether it is a human or not at that stage? it's not as if that fetus is going to become a fly or a dodo, it sure as hell is going to become a human. we talk about giving more rights yet we ignore the single most fundamental one because of convenience.

and equating killing a fetus to killing a chicken is not a valid point either. while i greatly disagree with the way most animals are bred/killed nowadays, it's not an excuse for other forms of barbarism. the food chain has been set in stone for thousands of years, whereas we should have risen above killing our own species at least.

It seems to me that, for people like you, life is just something that we need to get over with. We have to follow a set of rules for approximately 85 years and then live forever in Heaven or Hell. There is no middle-way in Christendom. Life has no meaning because it's merely a tryout for death. I refuse to discuss this sort of topic with you over the internet. Not because, as many would think, that I don't argue or discuss topics with religios people, because I do, but because it's impossible for me to keep up with a discussion where I have to write pages upon pages of logical and reasonable argumentation, to which he can counter-answer everything I write with a; because God says so/Because the Bible says so.
But basically, I think you are one of those who simplify everything by, in your case, boiling it down to fit your religion or fit into the plan of an omnipotent being. Here's some stuff for thought: How could you ever understand the will of someone/something omnipotent and Almighty?

There's a reason why it's called "potential life". It's not certain it will turn into a human. That's why miscarriages exist.
